Love the striped bass videos man, I’m from mass so it’s amazing seeing other people experience the excitement from catching a striped bass, especially Alex and Carl. Definitely need to do more surf fishing vids next summer!!
i live on the cape..nice to see it get the love it deserves... salt water can be a grind..but the fresh water ponds are the real gems of the cape..bass and trout
I recognized Waquiot bay instantly. By the inlet to the bay is usually a hot spot and the rips out past it. Also the west side of Washburn island at its narrowest point. Really just all around it is a good time. During the summer that island is a fantastic beach spot

Blue fish are so tasty we call them shad here in south Africa and we cook them on a braai or barbecue in tin foil apricot jam on the outside and tomatoes and onion on the inside let the fire do the work

Hey man great videos. It’s been -10 to -30 around here in bc so I’ve been watching a lot of fishing videos. The last week I got out a few days and got 1 12lb steelhead. I really appreciate your fly fishing videos. I drift fish for salmon and steelhead but I mainly fly fish. I think fishing lakes in the spring in our bc interior would make a great video. We typically use size 14 to 18 chironomids from may through June (depending on ice off) I have personally had 100 fish days. But my best day was about 35 fish(all rainbows) none were under “20. Biggest was 29” and about 8lb on a 4/5 weight. We have 3 rare strains of rainbow trout here. Pennask are my favourite. Big eyes to find small bugs in the mountains and very minimal spots. Some are actually spotless. Black water strain is fun to catch and they can get to 40lbs because they eat other fish. And the horsefly strain is beautiful. Similar to a golden rainbow but separate. They come from the horsefly river/ lake that connects to the mighty Fraser river. Also I think catching a 10 ft white sturgeon in the Fraser would make a great video. River monsters tried to do it but it was shit.

The big truck i think is a Kodiak. People often have them as their tow pig. Often used to tow a big race trailer, boat, camper etc.
