We have followed Christ into his heaven and we are sested with him there at the throne of God. The cross had to separate us from our siinnfulness before we were allowed into God's heaven. This is the gospel message and I am not ashamed of iit, because it is the power of God to give poor helplesss sinners new life and give them a restiing place while he works his perfect life in and through his children.
There is nothing worse than an earthly minded pastor, because he makes provision for the flesh, but God doesn't allow any of the flesh into his heaven.
Doug Wilson says you have to fight sin. This is not a Christian doctrine. Our rest in our completed salvation in Christ is what makes us Christian. We are made blameless in Christ,, in the heavenlies. We are sinless in our heavenly position. That perfect position is the reason Paul exhorts us set our minds on things above and not on things on the earth, for we have died and our lives are hid with Christ in God. Doug Wilson is earthly. Therefore you will never hear the whole gospel from him. The cross, tomb, resurrection and ascension separated us from our sinfulness and filled us with Christ.

The cross separated us from our sinfulness positionally, in Christ. Therefore we put no confidence in the flesh.
Excellent message~ We must see through God’s blessings to Christ. If we look at the thing itself it will eventually fail us.
God bless you more and more Pastor. Blessings Rev.P.Samson Moti
No, the gospel makes no provision for sin. We could never have been lead to the father by Christ still in our old sin nature.

"In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding blood." That's in Hebrews.
@@NeanderthalWoman-ou8ev Hebrews never says Jesus condones the struggle
