Wonderful ideas to transform a paper pad. I love the addition of fabric, lace and people images. I also like how you added the kraft pages, dictionary pages and interactive elements. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Debra, this is turning out wow , I never think to cut into the page n use it like a tuck , when ever I have the front that shows what is inside , I actually use as much of it as I can.as journal card , no one knows the difference as I back each one , just a thought xx alanna
Debra, this is so lovely! I have a problem with Stamperia paper too being so beautiful and having to choose which side to use.... I solved it be always ordering 2 at a time!🤭🤭🤭🤭
Such wonderful ideas to use a Stamperia pad. I had ordered 2 pads and just hated to cut them up. Ha! Thanks for these videos. Sometimes, you need some inspiration to get started. Take care!
Absolutely fantastic tutorial, easy to follow for a novice like me. Many thanks for this. I was wondering how many pages you’ve created, including the coffee dyed ones, to be sewn into the cover, and is it just one signature in that cover? Hope you can guide me here as it’s my main difficulty of how many pages and signatures. Many thanks.
@@stringscissors Many thanks for your reply. It would be so helpful to learn how many signatures approximately, allowing for all the ephemera and embellishments, might be stitched into a hard and soft cover. I realise it depends on the width of the spine and so on, but some guidance would be greatly appreciated. I absolutely love your tutorials and will look forward to this one very much. ❤️
@@stringscissors Thank you Debra. I have some old books with curved spines and some with flat spines. Is there a difference in sewing in the signatures, because I imagine that a curved spine might make some signatures stick out more than they would in the flat spined ones? Also, on some of the pages I’d like to paint, stamp, stencil and add lace, so it would seem logical and easier to complete these before any binding, would that be the case, or would all that make it more difficult to bind? Apologies for all my questions😊 I’m sure to have more along the way.
Never get tired of watching you create tfs😍❤️😍
Thanks Janette 😊

Ummmm...because you are using printed paper-the term is a journal. If you use post consumer waste it will be a junk journal.
Thanks for watching.
