I bought one of these and I really like it. Worked great. Paid for itself in one project. Saves me from renting a tiller. Time saver. Yes, the cord is a concern. I find that throwing the cord over one shoulder helps me keep it out of the way and reminds me that it's there.

A medium duty cord will work fine
