Can we appreciate the talent behind Scanlan’s singing. Sam Riegel goes from funny songs to 90’s love ballads to 80’s metal anthems to a beautiful song about going for a d*mp, the man has range!
I wish more than anything we could get full 3 minute versions of “making my way”, “song for osysa”, “when the bald man cries”, and Laura’s version of “making my way”. They’re all amazing as they are, but I need more😂 Also, if y’all haven’t listened to the shows season 2 album, Sam sings a song called “Lemme catch you up” which is a summary of season 1 (I don’t remember it being in the show at all), and it is an absolute banger of a song. It gives me Hamilton vibes at some points in the best way possible.
I just want to show some love for “The landing’s gonna be a bit rough/I’ll save our asses with some butt-stuff!” because (1) wordplay, and (2) my queer ass appreciates the recurring detail that Scanlan, self-described as someone who wants to bed everyone and everything in the realm, and does not discriminate in that regard, is an ass man. Because regardless of what your gender is or what other bits you’re working with, *everyone* has a butt.
