A Review of the 2024 Toyota Avanza 1.3E Manual Transmission

The Toyota Avanza is a tiny multipurpose vehicle (MPV) designed for the Philippines that blends affordability and usability in a small, economical package. Because of its versatility and capacity as a seven-seat MPV, it is a well-liked vehicle among Filipino families. Less chrome on the front grille, a deleted side strip, and leaner, smaller headlights are all part of its new look.
The latest generation Dual VVT-i 4-cylinder inline 16-valve DOHC engine is available in two different configurations for the Avanza from Toyota Motor Philippines. Maximum power output for the 1.3-liter engine is 95 horsepower and 121 Newton-meter of torque; maximum power output for the 1.5-liter engine is 103 horsepower and 136 Newton-meter of torque. There are two transmission options available for the new engine: a 4-speed automatic and a 5-speed manual.
The Toyota Avanza has an infotainment system that is either 8 or 6.75 inches in size. The 8-inch device has Bluetooth, Aux-in, and AWS connection in addition to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto features. The 6.75-inch model is limited to Aux-in and Bluetooth connection. The higher varieties come with a 4-speaker sound system, whereas the cheaper variations just have a 2-speaker system. Regardless of the trim level, four USB chargers and two 12 volt accessory chargers are available.
Every Toyota Avanza model is equipped with the same set of safety features. The front passenger has two airbags, and the other passengers are secured in 3-point seatbelts. Additionally, ISOFIX child seat ties, ABS with EBD, and side door impact beams are included with the MPV.
