- Hello everyone Happy New Year!! Had a slow start to the morning.. the weather has been pretty messy with rain and cold for the pass month. The water was unstable and the crappie are scatter out across the lake. I was able to find a few crappie after ridding around looking on side scan for them. The crappie were in 13 to 20 foot of water. My setup is 13ft pole 1/16oz pink head dirty milk orange and chartreuse hair jig and 10lbs test line. Thanks for watching and have a Safe New Year... @@thomasfishing78 Oh by the way man these winds in Dallas for the next three days are at 15 mph. Hard to stay on point even with Ipilot. May have to follow the channels back into the creeks. They could be getting ready to spawn late February or early March.

Is there much current in that river system? We catch a lot of big fish here on the Tn river in West tn. But most times your fighting the current. Tough to live scope with 3 mph current. LOL
