Unfortunately, I had a mother and a father that were not healthy for me to be around. My mother was an alcoholic and a drug act and my father practices, new age which is basically forms of witchcraft. So, instead, I honor my father in heaven, as my real father. I firmly believe that will be precious in his eyes.

I have tried, but the war against the world is so difficult....I am praying for my children who think I am an Orthodox fanatic. I raised them to believe and worship God, but somehow my two boys doubt. I turned them over to God and the Holy Mother and I pray that God will work in their hearts. The greatest enemy of parents today is the screen (computers, tv, phones, etc). It is killing their minds. Let us all pray for the children of this world to be delivered from the hive mind that is the virtual world.

Instant Gratification is creating an insanely impatient and spoiled society. There is no spiritual discipline anymore. The mere idea of fasting is completely foreign to the average person. Cell phones are damaging to the mind-body and spirit. People are so used to getting what they want instantly.

I am very happy to hear that you with Jesus help over came one of the hardest things to over come. I lost my brother to addiction and I miss him every day. I pray that he called out to Jesus. he was found in outside the next morning. I know that he fought a good fight but he lost. Knowing that with God's help you are winning makes me happy and I thanked God for you letting me know that some will win the fight.

I live with my son, his wife and two grandchildren...They have been together for over 20 years...When my husband ( May the Lord hold him in his Glory) and I bought this house 30 years ago, we redid the cement on the front door and I wrote on the cement, "Welcome to heaven"...I always say, "I'm house sitting for the Lord"..."He left me to care for this place, but it's not mine", "It belongs to the Lord"...To the rest of the family, it is a special place...To my cousins it's like coming home to their parent's house...The parents and siblings now long gone used to come sleep over on holidays...It is where they feel the whole family still here with us...We just had 6 stay over this Christmas...There is always room for family to sleep and food for the hungry, even if I have to fast...All 4 of my children are adults and they are with their first marriage and raising their children...Blessed be the Lord forever...And a blessed 2024 to all...
