I did both RKC and SFG certs and struggled with the snatch test. Why? I was 143 lbs at the time and was trying to follow a rep scheme that people 200 lbs were following - we used the same size bell, which has since changed. I got a great piece of advice from a long-time instructor to change my rep scheme. Next time I tested, using their advice, I crushed it. Moral of the story is to echo Dan. Don't back out if you can't complete the snatch test. Good team leaders and assistants at either cert will coach you through.

This was great. I'm prepping for the RKC with you I'm May. I can pass the snatch test in the appropriate amount of time.. My concern is the lockout of the elbows. I have a bone piece in one elbow that prevents full lockout and I tore my tricep a year and a half ago on the other side. Is there any way to see if my "lockout" is sufficient?

Unless your team leader is a total ass, you should be fine. I always let injured people work around everything. Part of being a good coach is working WITH people.
