The way he plays is true perfection.. And do not be fooled! It seems easy but this piece is blooody difficult to get it right
Indeed, it is bloody difficult to get it right!
I totally agree about the difficulty of this piece: first of all to get rich colors and right polyphony, then to keep that typical " wave-movement" of those barcarolles, without exaggerating it...I loved this performance
vocaliise actually to be exact the notes are easy but the feelings the emotions the background is very hard
And also the dynamics too
I've been playing this for quite a while now, you know what makes the piece technically difficult? The bloody A minor / C major key……too little black keys + awkward fingerings, especially middle sweet section…
Bravo Maestro! 🌹
So beautiful and sad🙏
Wow ! He knows how to make each episode of the piece coherent and interesting. So beautiful !
First composition by Fauré I hear, gorgeous
Bellisimo!!!
Beautiful rendition❤️💞

Joué avec goût, élégance et sans sentimentalité. Parfait.
is it someone hearing here parts of fly me to the moon melody? or its just i've been listening too much jazz?
No, it’s definitely there 😆
It’s the circle of fifths progression, the same pattern fly me to the moon uses, I’m assuming you’re talking about 2:16
Absolutely divine unequalled mélodic... éloquence. Better than Germaine Tyssens, Heidsieck or Collard. In a class of His own...phrasé, accentuation, entrain.
a pair of true pianist hands... play as if they are dancing on the keys
Beautifully played, indeed. Such a pity the recording is so heavily clipped and otherwise distorted.
Muy hermoso!!
Nice!
Bach prelude and fugue no12 in f minor
Way, way, way too quick!!! It’s a Barcarolles, not a roller coaster. You’re supposed to be languishing in or around water, being gently rolled by the waves, not being rocked and rolled like that!!

Laughable cadency... Can someone rig this machine of a player?
Even listening to the first half-minute, any vaguely competent listener can realise that your comment is horseshit.
I totally agree!! This is a machine playing this beautiful piece. There is NO emotion in it. What an achievement when considering the core of Fauré’s colorful compositions. Another one of these artists who thinks that technicality should prevail over expression…. Argh…😢
