For some reason a bunch of my games that I have carts for suddenly say they are corrupted so I'm trying to initialize without losing save data but everytime it gets stuck saying "initilizing do not touch the power button" and wont go past that screen. I've tried force rebooting and starting over but it wont work...even after waiting an hour
I have all the colors of Nintendo Switch Lite and regular Nintendo Switch. I wanted to sell the gray and yellow ones. If I factory reset on both of them, do I still keep my account and saved data on Pokémon HOME on my turquoise, pink and blue Lites and regular Nintendo Switch?
Omg tysm I accidentally signed into my old Gmails Nintendo account and it's deactivated but my Nintendo account isn't (very strange btw) so I panicked trying to get it off and then I found your video thank you!!!! You saved me from a panic attack XD
Hello! I am "helping" my nephew with his animal crossing. He has two switches. His switch lite is connected to a family online program. On the switch lite he has all of his games, including Animal Crossing. His animal crossing save data is not uploaded. On his second switch he only has animal crossing which is a physical copy, once again the save data is not uploaded. He would like to reset his island on his second switch. However, before he deleted it he wanted to upload it to the dream address. I stupidly hooked it up to the family account using the same user as his switch lite -- so both switches were hooked up to the same account! Suddenly his online games began to download on the second switch. I was so afraid that his switch lite island was overwritten by his second switch island, but it wasn't. Currently both switches are turned onto airplane mode. I would like to now simply factory reset his second switch so that he can start a new island. However, I am afraid that this will effect the save data connected to his account. If I factory reset his second switch, could it delete the save data on his switch lite? Not just for Animal Crossing but for other games as well? Thank you so much for your help.
Hi, I'm very sorry but I gave my switch to my little brother as a gift and haven't used it ever since so I'm not sure how the saved data works on the Nintendo platform especially since I didn't even play animal crossing on it.
I don't have an sd card, but i did transfer saved data to my new switch. Will i lose that saved data, if i factory reset my old one?
