I remember when power tools was my whole world in the 90's 😍🎧🎵 every Friday after work just worried about to go to the music store to get couple cassettes with metallic tape for best sound and record power tools every Saturday night , czr one of the best talented djs from chicago,still have couple cd's of czr and etc etc etc 😊✌
Memories are memories, I still spin house to this day and forever will, HOUSE ! The music that goes in to your body into your soul, nothing like it will come close!

The good old days..
I had just bought turntables in the summer of 1995 and started DJing parties with a friend in the LA & IE area, spinning old school funk, hip-hop and 90's house music... but I didn't really like house music with all the singing & melodies I would hear so I would let my friend spin the house music at parties while I played the old school funk & hip-hop... till I heard this mix in 96, this shit was dope to me, more beat/groove oriented, so I immediately started looking for & buying some of the records in this mix & others like it.
Thanks to this CZR power tools mix on a saturday night in 1996 I started liking & spinning some house music & techno in the mid & late 90's! :)
I remember going to record stores & asking the workers if they had that "more trance like house music with no gay singing and more of those trippy techno sounds that build up higher & higher" (not knowing back then that sound is a sweeping filter effect).
I probably used to trip out the workers lol but hey sometimes they knew what I was talking about. :D
I stopped listening to house music after the late 90's but I got into it again in the 2010's with tech-house & techno!
I thought I remembered this mix being like 30 minutes, I'm not sure but I have it on tape stored away with all my tapes. :)

Me too. I got back into house music around 2008/2009. It became electro, then after 2012 lots of progressive house was growing called MINIMAL/TECHNO. i still spin my 90's house records all the time even my mid 90s trance and techno. I have lots of Powertools shit in my record bags.

Friday's at 8:00 house mix with the baka boyz and then big boy took over in the mornings.. then everything went to shit after hip hop took over.. dont get me wrong, I love some hip hop.. but power 106 killer house music in 98..
