- After much consideration and research, I bought a INNOREL VM70CK Monopod and having used it a few times I’m sharing why I like this monopod so much and how it’ll make my Bird Photography so much easier.
I’d also like to thank everyone who gave me feedback when I asked for “Monopod Advice Needed for Bird Photography”. Your suggestions have been greatly appreciated.

Glad you found something you like mate. The legs on the base look longer than the iFootage so it should be more stable, also as you showed you still have the ballhead on the bottom, that will be handy for uneven ground.
Yes, I really like this monopod
another thing is there are some places that won’t let you use a tripod, especially indoors, but monopods are okay. Also when hiking on more crowded trails where a tripod would get in the way but the smaller footprint of the monopod makes working in crowded area less of a hassle for everyone
Yes, that true and that's also one of the reasons that I bought this monopod as we're going to the Snowy Mountains in June and I'll be able to take it with me.
I'm sold. I'll wait until it's back in stock and buy from your link though.
That's great, I am sure you'll like this monopod.
great ! watching your video after long time.
Thanks for watching, much appreciated 🙏
Congratulation on your new gear
Thank you🙏
Funny you released this video today, I just order this very monopod for the same reasons for bird work. I also have a great Innorel carbon fibre tripod. Buying with the video fluid head option was an extra $60 compared to $90 buying it separately.
Thank you, I did look at buying this monopod with the F60 Fluid head, but I wanted the F80. But they didn't want to do a combo deal with this monopod and the f80 fluid head.
The cobra 3 isnt worth the extra $$$
Thank you, my reasoning as well. 😉
CAUTION: if you are taller than 1m82, it's going to be too low to look into the viewfinder.
I'm 186cm and I can't extend the monopod to its full height.
@@CharlesNPhotography Okay - looking the thing up online and it mentions max length 1m82. So, kindly asking: what ís its full length?
@@Astronomynatureandmusic Like I said I am 186cm in height.
The Monopod with the feet attached measures 173cm in height.
with my camera attached to the monopod, I have to reduce the height of the monopod to 162cm if I don't use a tripod head.
But I use a LEOFOTO VH-10S Tripod Head which further reduces the monopod's height to 153cm.
Hope this helps you understand my rationale.
Okay! Thanks so much for taking the time.
