I love this video! I got the A6 cafe au lait, too, and I almost screamed when I realized my 2024 hon could fit in. (Tip: the vanishing point fits in the center of the case better than the loop, so you don't have to worry about scratching.)

This was such a great video. You are so insane - the best people are!! I absolutely adored this video, it was so much fun to watch…. Off to watch your previous videos for more unboxing fun.. I’m sure. I put in one order… for myself, but just like last year I am fighting with myself to put in another (not at fisticuffs yet!). I fluff up my notebooks so I don’t know if mine would still fit after adding collage elements, stickers and I too love fountain pens… literally sitting her drooling over your gold vanishing point - such a beautiful combo with the cafe cover - now I want both but I love my pens like my babies so I couldn’t see myself getting cross with the zipper for scraping my “Precious” (pen). I definitely think you might end up fighting with the zip cover as your journal grow if you tend to include a lot of ephemera. But at least when it's still "flat," it can sit in the pretty Cafe Au Lait cover 🤭
The interior of my Cafe Au Lait cover smells more plastic-y than leather 🤔
I wonder if it's because the exterior fabric overwhelms the interior leather smell, or if maybe the hot weather transferred the smell of the plastic bag to the cover. In any case, I don't notice any smell it during normal usage. And I'm sure it'll fade with time 😊
i love that you journaled in your hobonichi. itll be nice to look back at a few spreads while in 2025 :)
Now I just gotta make sure to keep up with it 😆

So those kitta stickers at 10:25 ARE full stickers, theyre only stuck on that one side for packaging related reasons. Once you peel them off the little book you can then spend like two whole minuets trying to peel off the backing and its a complete sticker, the whole thing is sticky. The sticker is even preetty strong for washi tape.
Oh, gosh, yes! Thank you for letting me know - I feel a bit silly not realizing that, haha. I've properly redeemed myself in my second unboxing video, hehe.

Tbh, I'm not a huge fan of zip covers either. But the aesthetics of this cover were too good, haha! I'll probably be rotating this amongst my other covers, but I am happy to have it in my collection ✨
Well now I feel like I really need to get the HoON a5 to fill the alettone cover better 😅- 4th order might be in the works after all

I too don’t like the ballpoint ink that comes in the freebie pen. I replace the refills with the Pilot Hi-Tech-C .4 gel refills I get from JetPens. The refill is LHSRF-8C4. Comes in Black, red, blue or blue-black.
