Today I'm showing you how to repair a specimen with E6000. Now, not all glues are made the same and some repairs may need a different type of glue altogether.
I hope this video helps!

I have E6000 at home and have used it to successfully repair some broken specimens. Thanks for sharing!
A Person With Integrity Says A Lot About A Person = A GOOD NAME IS MORE PRECIOUS THAN GOLD AND THAN ALL THE RICHES OF THE WORLD!!!
I find these types of videos very useful as everyone eventually ends up with a broken stone or specimen. So Kudos to you Sir!
That is a great repair job there. iam going to check that glue out!
That repair turned out very nice.
I repaired some boots with ShoeGoo, very similar to e6000.
Nice repair.
I don’t see a problem with repairing if the customer knows and especially since you gave them a discount. I might have to try this with the gyp piece you sent me that a piece broke off of.
You would be surprised by how many of the "expensive" pretty specimens are repaired going for the completely untouched natural presentation prices. Some has reached a high art, like the opal in matrix from Mexico all pink & pretty or the Andamooka matrix or as the GIA states. If something can be done to improve the value, assume it WAS done. With treated opals, you can treat the matrix but it is a visible line where it is ground off the gem, unless it is encased.
What type of glue would work best to repair a cabbed moss agate? It has to dry clear for this particular stone.

Curious if there are alternative ways to repair stones. I don’t see anything wrong with what you’re doing since you reached out to the person, but I am super sensitive to odors like E6000. I once tried to use it to adhere a sunflower sticker to my cast and had to sit outside until the smell went away!😂 Thankfully, it was a warm sunny day😂😂😂
