I'm hoping to be able to have the opportunity to talk about El Greco in the future: he's such an anachronistic artist, and it's easy to see how his painting style would come to influence artists in the 18th and 19th centuries (his work looks very Expressionist to me). Was surprised he wasn't in the AP curriculum, tbh.
