All the way from South Africa. You are such an inspiration! Keep shining please
I can’t but appreciate your message and how cerebral I found your fluency communication.
Good works .🎉❤
This was well worth the wait. Your academic story is really encouraging. Mine was not linear either. From when I was in primary school and all the way through secondary school I wanted to be an aerospace engineer - and my parents supported it. However during a carreer fair organised by the city, I met some professors from a university who introduced me to mechanical engineering, and it also sounded like if later on I still wanted aerospace I could still branch out. After graduating mechanical engineering I joined industry but the wrong fit of industry for me because when I graduated there were no jobs, even my sponsor had no job for me. After a few years of working I am back at uni doing postgrad in materials science and engineering field - because I realised I love the science part even more than engineering. I'm at the moment where I am not sure what to do next, but I know I don't want to join industry and feel there is still alot that I need to learn. I'll speak to people like you have just so I am fully aware of what each option entails.
Thanks again for all your videos, you never disappoint.
Keep up the good work ! you are an inspiration🌟
So proud of you sis ❤ ما شاء الله
Well done and congratulations!
I have always dreamt of being a medical doctor or surgeon since the age of 5. However along my academic journey, my interest has changed and I’m happy it has… I am still pursuing on becoming a doctor, particularly in physiology and I am currently on the path in doing so. Will be doing my Masters next year 🥺
Your video and content as a whole has been truly inspiring and made me realize my purpose and why I’m doing what I do ❤… with faith, I trust the journey I’m exploring will enable me to reach my greatest potential and do what I love
Words cannot express the gratitude we have for your presence and may your journey of life continue to be filled with tremendous joy and blessings!
Sending lots of love from South Africa 🇿🇦

You are an amazing woman.❤ I love you ❤
I did a PGCE and taught languages for 3 years but I didn't like it anymore and my interests had changed. I'm pursuing a masters now in International Relations and Communications.
I really enjoy your videos! 😊
Amazing journey, glad you achieved what you set out for! Please do share journey with teaching, is it necessary to have a post grad in teaching in order to lecture especially in higher education?
Doctor doctor doctor doctor Amina. 😊😊
Ah I actually started my PhD last year but because I had a horrible experience ( read lowkey abusive PI and labmates) I dropped out of the institute even though I loved my research and could see it going somewhere. I am currently really discouraged and thinking twice if I want to apply for a PhD in some other institute. TBH I am really exhausted by the system of academia.
masha allah still u youngs sista woow i wish good luck
I am thinking of the family friend, who has high performance at school, but annoys easily, is constantly in bad mood. But performance, performance.
Great story, Dr. Yonis, would you say your passion was your main driver for today's success?

I’m still in my academic journey and I’m definitely not doing what the 10 y/o wanted.
Some people out there graduating 4 times while I'm struggling to do it once 😅😂
👏🏼👏🏼
I'm 18 y/o girl from Ethiopia and my parents also want me to become a doctor but my interest is in medical research. So, what do you think I should major in to be a medical researcher?
نصيحتي: اتبع قلبك و شغفك و كن في المكان الذي يجعل والديك فخورين بك. ليس مهما أن تكون دكتور بل المهم ان تكون ناجحا و مفيدا للناس ❤
Can you please rewrite the message in English? Since I didn't understand you wrote in Arabic.
@@Diyu174 He is basically saying follow your heart and passion, and be in a place where your parents will be proud of you, it's not important that you become a doctor, what is important is your service to your fellow umang beings
@@Diyu174 she said: "my advice; follow your heart and your passion. Be in a place that's gonna make your parents proud of you. Being a doctor is not what matters (or what is important) but the most improtant is to be successfull and useful to people.
