Awww the dog guarding Caroline all night 😢 it amazes me how someone seeing a person being chased by a man wouldn’t arouse suspicion and you just went about your day 😮😳
I think it was a child who glimpsed Caroline Osborne being chased by a man......not an adult. This sighting was only discovered days after her murder... through the process of interviewing the many people present on Aylstone Meadows. When seeing one person run after another from far away...who would assume they were witnessing an actual murder? Most people would assume they are seeing people just messing about? And who knows what a child thinks? Caroline Osborne and Amanda Weedon's killer, Paul Bostock was caught. .....sadly for Caroline and Amanda, it was just the wrong place at the wrong time. As of 2020 Paul Bostock remains in prison.......Bostock also told the court he should never go free...way back then.
@PESChamp08 Thanks very much for these compilations. They are very nostalgic. I remember seeing Crimewatch UK, for the 1st time, one night, as a little boy, in an old pub in Co Donegal. I followed it for the next 30+ years, right up to the night of the last episode.
Some murders featured on Crimewatch UK were only featured on The Incident Desk. Not a reconstruction....just a one paragraph mention. That would be a VERY time consuming compilation..... However I think CW fans would really appreciate it.
It has crossed my mind to do a compilation of these kinds of appeals - there will be many cases that have not previously been highlighted and also there will be a few mentions of cases that were reconstructed in subsequent episodes
I Roger that. A summary after each case on whether it was solved and who done it and the sentence. I was on another crimewatch channel and he did this but he hasn't done an episode for over 6 months
Dogs are wonderful one of them the white one stayed with her. I honestly cannot believe how long ago this sad case occurred and luckily it is still active up to this very day.
It was a "Jump up" gone wrong where the 2nd white van the decoy vehicle is placed where the other one is driven away from. This is an easy way of confusing any witnesses.

@@pattymelt-go3fv Paul Bostock is now free and could be somebody's neighbour in the UK as we speak!! Scary stuff.

Paul Bostock was just 16 when he murdered Caroline Osborne.
So sad for Yvonne's daughters to grow up without their mother.
We all have to be very thankful to the great work of Alec Jeffrey discovering the code of dna .

I wonder how that woman who seen this poor lass getting chased by a man just got on with her life after she found out she was killed.
