This is so true.
In some countries women aren't even given the right to step outside or study.they live caged in a house, only to get married and live the rest of her life in misery, they are taught this is right so they treat their daughters the same way.marriage can wait education cannot,my own mother was an illiterate, her life could've been much better if only she was educated😢
You describe iraq and iran
Actually not just the Iraq and Iran..woman live in the misery in every part of this world.
In Saudi Arabia, if a 12 year old girl was SA'd by her uncle, she had to keep the baby and her uncle will get full parental rights.
@MalakTalib-g7c misery does exist everywhere but Middle East is hell

I love how you used quotes from women in movies that actually still apply to some countries and government laws today. It shows how sexism toward women isn’t just an olden time issue that has been solved everywhere. It is still an issue, even if we can’t see it everywhere.
a woman always has to be someone's someone. a wife, a sister or a mother. she is never treated like an individual. the society always expects them to depend on men. to control them. and to exploit. always taught to be a good wife. a good mother or a good sister. but people never realise that she has her own identity too. she has some responsibilities to fullfill towards herself. even a small step of care she takes towards her own self is tagged as selfishness. why? i never understood. the society has always told a woman that all she can do is sacrifice. that that is her power. just to sacrifice.
and a woman is always judged for her appearance. if a woman is doing good in her field but she is ugly then they will criticize her. and if a woman is beautiful and is doing good in her field then people assume its because of her appearance and not because of her hardwork or talent. why is this this way?
since people are discussing their thoughts, mine too here- the other day i was at my relative's house and after eating i went to do the dishes that i dirtied. there were other dishes too, so i naturally washed them too. why? because i am a good HUMAN. but i got no thanks, no appreciation. that is fine, though. however, i was treated like it was my duty to do it because i am a WOMAN. i cleaned the house because i wanted to share the workload of my mother and aunts. but i was seen to be doing it because i am a woman. meanwhile, the men who were doing absolutely nothing all day kept sitting just like that because house work is not their work. i did the work not because i am a woman but because i am a nice human. when your kindness as a human is treated as your sacrifice as a woman, it is infuriating as hell. love to all the women and men out there who did a household chore today or stepped out and worked or just did anything productive that contributed to your family or socety.
My dad and mother always do 50/50 of house work🥰
Sakshi Didi, you did a good dishwashing
🏅 Here's your award for doing the dishes lmao
@@sakshisrivastava5855 ignore the Andrew tate fans above, sorry that you had to experience that.

i recognised gangubai kathiawadi and amy march
and as an indian, i am proud that the former was in this video
Her story was one of a kind. i really felt that she had to be in video, even if it was for a few seconds. I encourage so many women across the world to watch this movie
@@Mexxo very true
i honestly know her only though clips and trailers
i'm like, 13, and i can't exactly go and ask my parents if i can watch a movie on a sex worker.
it's a brilliant movie though, and i've read about her. i hope to watch it sometime in the future.
loved all the pieces of cinema you chose for this. from anne with an e to gangubai kathiawadi, the range and diversity is insane! love it!!
This is the best video I have seen today on UA-cam......
Women empowerment ❤
This is so beautiful you can see the thought you put into this it’s amazing and I’m also glad you added a lot of scenes from films and TV shows that aren’t taken seriously by the fandom but are so deeply misogynistic and uncomfortable for the characters but it’s so normalised in a lot of these shows and in reality that people don’t usually pick up on them as bad for women
The world has failed women, so they have to stand up for themselves. It’s honestly upsetting.
W edit 🥶
I love being a woman but these situations are always so heartbreaking
Issues like these are the biggest ones in the world and yet no ones doing anything about them. Ive seen too many women suffer because of men and I myself suffer. Women truly are the strongest people in this world. We are forced to deal with the most intolerable thing in this universe: men. Im not saying all men are bad, but they are the source of every womens issues. When will the cage doors open and let us be free? The doors will be opened not by a man, but by us women who continue to suffer under oppression and prove our strength.💜
many women oppress other women. its not men. i have a brother and he was the one who opened the door for me. he always tells me not to depend on anyone and to be independent and to be strong. its not men.
You yourself suffer? I didn't understand? Are you like surrounded by very abusive/toxic men? I hope you get out of such situations.
@ thank u so much❤️ I am surrounded by many toxic men and it definitely affects me but there are women with much worse conditions and are surrounded by even worse men. Even if the problems are minor, we’re still oppressed. May we all be freed
Gave me goosebumps!
Can we please get a list of all the shows and movies' clip used in the video?
Well done 👏🏼 I wish it was not relevant, but it is and can be all too relatable.

You should've added the episode from American Horror Stories S1 : Milkmaids
This is so true...
Can you check out the movie Lapata Ladies? There's a quote that will surely blow up your mind.
At 2:17 the woman writing on the chwlk board is who?
it is the main character from the movie Hidden Figures
it is
What’s the show in the thumbnail?
a movie named Gangubai Kathiawadi
It's on Netflix I think
It is about a sex worker, one of the best feminist film I have ever watched, a best feminist film in whole or the Indian cinema and I won't agree more.
It's about a girl who got sold into prostituion by her lover. Eventually, after a few years, she fights for prostitute rights.
@@Nightsky9423 highway is good too. same actress. there are many such good films. gangubai kathiawadi is just one of them. thappad. pink. mother india. bandit queen. etc etc
I went in to finally see some woc representation and was disappointed.
Hey, I saw a comment saying that you hate them. I just wanna say that please ignore such comments and you do what you gotta do, girl. Nowadays bots are becoming a huge thing. To spread hate everything. Dont worry about such comments.

@@Mexxo thanks queen
Video is great but it is kinda clickbait because Alia appeared for a few frames without any dialogue.. like seriously?? It is an amazing video and definitely took a lot of time or effort but why the clickbait? For Indians? You hate us but want our attention so you can make money. Great!!
First, It has nothing to do with indians and no one claimed or said that anybody hates indians, please dont make assumptions that are misleading to people, it is only a thumbnail, nothing more, nothing less. Every race, religion and gender is welcome on this channel without discrimination. Im sorry if you felt that way, but it is simply not true in this case.
Second, Many movies and TV shows i showed are usually less than a few seconds, from different ages, countries and religions, i did not use any dialogue scenes from the movie since i could not find clear audios without background music to it and i also dont understand the language, which would lead me to put subtitles to a language idk.
Third, i do not make any money from these videos, it is a hobby of mine that i do not financially benefit from. I would appreciate it if you do not make any sort of claims without checking first.
Have a great day! and thank you for watching.
Definitely clickbait
As always
@@Mexxo Gurl don't listen to them u r doing great
This feels like a bot.
@@Mexxo I see most of your point but also, what's wrong with putting subtitles to a language you don't know? You can just take the English translations for them... ultimately it's your choice, yes, but it's also not like it was impossible to do. Still good video and no hate, but yeah.
