Hi, I just discovered your channel. It's amazing! I noticed that you quilted a sewing machine and other sewing paraphernalia into the bag pieces. How did you do that?
To make the turning easier why couldn’t you cut it to length first leaving a little extra if needed? Fantastic video. I love Annie’s patterns. And you do a great job of showing us how to do them! ALWAYS SUPPORT OUR PATTERN MAKERS!!!
Look at that fabric!! It's sooo cute!! Did you quilt all that fabric before you cut it? I may have missed that, but I watched it twice and didn't hear that. What a fantastic tool. I too have fought with straps and such for years. Nice job on those straps, Margaret. I'll be watching for the video with the rest of the bag making. Hugs from Canada!!
Yes, it was quilted prior to cutting it. Annie gives great instructions on how to cut the fabric to make it very easy to sew on a domestic machine! Thank you!
I liked the point turner. I would use it if I was making spaghetti straps for address or something like that. But I think Annie has made the strap making a lot more complicated than need be for this bag. Since you cut the straps because it had a mole cut separately to begin with instead of one long thing I would use it if I was making spaghetti straps for a dress, simple ties. But I think Annie has made the strap making a lot more complicated than needs be for this bag. You could've simply made the straps the same why you did the end pieces and put the strapping in and folded the fabric over it. You did all that turning just so you could have a center back seam yet the end pieces will have the seam on the side.
Hello Margaret-I love when you film how to make By Annie projects. You do such a fantastic job! Thank-you.
Thank you Heather!

Margaret, thanks for showing us that amazing tool!! Great video.
thank you!!
made this last year along with "Running with Scissors ". Absolutely love them. just need to make the smaller on.
Since the casing is cut after it is sewn, why not just cut it to size and then turn each section? It would be SO much easier and faster.

I should have read ahead and realized I could have made it in sections! It would have been so much easier! I now know for the next time!! Thanks!
