this will be my first youtube video to upload! this bedroom makeover took time and dedication to finally share it with you. i really enjoyed the past few days of filming and editing it all. i was mostly inspired by pinterest to do a minimal look for my small bedroom. however I tried to incorporate as much korean style as I could during the process. if my choice of design and decor looks a bit unusual please feel free to comment on what I could improve on. thank you! 💕also please ignore some editing mistakes throughout the video :)

This is so inspiring! I always wanted a room makeover but it is sadly not possible where I live. We rented an apartment where furniture belongs to the place so no damage can be done to the furniture or its built in, if that wasn't the case I would've begged my parents for a makeover long time ago! :( I'm happy though that it turned out so well for you and others in the same situation, just watching these videos fill me with joy!

Love the transition from grey & white to a light brown and white! Super cozy!
It's cute! I would add a rug to the room - even though the floor tile is a warm color, tile always has a "cold" feel to it, and is detracting from the space feeling cozy. A rug will also help to ground the room better and tie everything in together instead of your different furniture feeling like it's floating in the space. Also, when you make your bed, fold the top 1/3 of your duvet down (you want to be able to see the sheet underneath, and for the pillows to rest directly on the sheet instead of on the duvet). Again, this will make everything feel cozier and more inviting.

Hi! I loved your video. I have the same ikea desk, but how do you keep it from getting stained and scratched? Especially being an artist… mine always gets ruined!
Hi Olivia! I would recommend using a desk pad. I use a clear one so that it can appear seamless on my table :) hope this helps you out!
