Some go go bands have performed in Atlanta, Ga. I guy named Thomas Carey, who's from my hometown Bowling Green. Va., lives in Atlanta, Ga. He started a go go band in ATL, Ga. Don't know if go go band is still around ATL. He posted on his Facebook page, go go band performing in a park around ATL.
I always felt like other older bands threw shade at P.E for playing in "wingspots/lounges" because they're not playing in the larger facilities nowadays
This band was under rated but was around for a long time and had a different style from the rest of the bands there sound brought plenty of new style to the world of DC,s own music that can't be played by anywhere outside of the DMV period
