None of the AC feels like AC anymore
POV: you're watching it in 2022 and imagining what could have been if Ubisoft had spent a year longer on Unity to make it perfect. If this game came out looking and playing like those impressive demos, then Ubisoft would have pushed AC series even further in this direction - smooth parkour, better stealth and social stealth, co-op mode, dense urban environments with hundreds of NPCs on the streets etc. Unfortunately Unity failed due to rushed release, a lot of bugs and undelivered promises. This was the exact reason why Ubisoft decided to try this RPG approach that led us to this moment. It's sad.
You're forgetting deceptive marketing. This mission would've been so perfect.

@@dodgsonwevegotdodgsonhere9970 Ubisoft are notorious for their demos and marketing hyping up and giving promises that can't really be accomplished from a technical standpoint. For Unity though, all bugs aside, they delivered one of the best games in the series in my eyes. It really sells the general idea of the series' concept. Being a shadow... a blade in the crowd. I'm not going to go into the bugs because most of them were fixed and the game has been ripped to death by now. What I will say, is that when it comes to going back to a more modern AC, this is what I turn to.... and maybe Origins. I hope Mirage takes the core of this game and builds on it.
@@LethalProtector8000 I 100% agree with you. I’m currently replaying AC Unity now and still revel at how beautiful this game is even being 10 years old. This was that last “True” Assassin’s Creed game. Even the Co-op feels just like this demo. Only thing that’s missing is the scripted mob rushing a palace. And one thing I really have to point out is how ALIVE Paris feels with hundreds of NPC’s on the streets making traversal on street bothersome and forces you to parkour (stylishly) above them. This game is deserving the love it’s getting today.

brandon zhang was pretty much exactly the same, the only difference is that Ubisoft always makes these kinds of scenes full of life in the demos, and throwing all bugs away and focusing only on the gameplay, i think Unity is the best thought AC game with AC3!!!!

A few things I noticed
-this mission isn't in the game
-they're are no coop assainations like they advertised
-No matter what weapon you had it did the same amount of damage
-I don't know what it is just the character models clothes just look clearer and cleaner
I think they did not put the mission in the game because they dont want to give out spolers
Xiasco boy if your defending unity on what it advertised your stupid also the coop assassinations are when a whole team aim to kill one person in a mission.That never happens also the fog in the game should be in all games not just a pc setting when they advertise it on a Xbox ,also I've seen the pc version the clothes look the same also I was talking about the demo not the actual game about the weapon damage that's why I said "what I noticed in this demo" also I've put so many days into this game and it's decent at best also I looked at my grammar I say it's okay but it's not like I'm aiming to impress people in the UA-cam comments

Otávio Augusto why answer to a comment that is eight months old? Yes it runs very smooth now compared last year, but still there are bugs, Unity is already being praised to be one of the best in ac series because of its gameplay which makes use feel like an assassin

The gameplay was so-so, but I thought they did a great job on the ingame physics (minus the car collisions), what with the wind and such. The animations in the game were very neatly done as well.
Here's to hoping that they finally change AC in a similar fashion as the parkour animations have been the same since AC2.
Dem Med Hornene yeah i was really well surprised from the animations they were amazing but i have to say i was a bit let down from the graphics in my opinion Watch Dogs gets 9/10 maybe 9.5

I played this game in 2020 and it still so incredible , I guess after 20 years people are gonna still love this game , so I request Ubisoft to please create a remastered version for this game or a remake of story instead of thinking about black flag 2

the blood splatter just made it 100x better.
The way the cake falls on the floor and splatters at 3:40 is just a mind blowing detail! So many awesome additions!

honestly, i don't think accents matter. accents with random foreign words imply the game/movie/whatever is in english, when it's really supposed to be in the original language, we just hear english for our convenience. so it doesn't actually make sense for the accents to be non-english if they're not speaking english.

2:15 before I played the game I thought, "Eh, not that many guards". Now I have played it I thought, "HOLY CRAP THERE IS LIKE A BAJILLION GUARDS". The new combat really does change how you approach a situation like that.
Jesus.....that is one of the best demonstrations I've seen for a demo trailer. Very well coordinated and designed. Good job Ubisoft.

It's really annoying when the game just forces you to play co-op.
Actually there might be. Your 3 friends will have an AI of their own. Much like allies in previous AC Games.
Mr Alex Speed I hope so. But please, Ubisoft, make your AI allies a bit more realistic in fighting. I mean, it must move like how the player does too. Well it depends on the character. In AC: Liberation, where you'll meet Connor, he doesn't fight as fast as you normally do as a decent player. He fights like a mercenary in the previous AC. And too, the combat must be harder when alone, by means of you'll need 3 finishers to finish your enemies off.
It could be the first good AC since Brotherhood and AC2! AWESOME!
No open-world and back in a big city; lets hope for the best!

From my research they have not announced any LOCAL Co-op, you can play online with friends AND matchmaking yes. Super pumped, last time I was this excited about an AC game was AC II. :)

Only thing I dislike is how many times you have to die from being shot. I've been killed countless times being shot from a enemy who just walks up while I'm fighting a mob. THERE IS WAY TOO MUCH SHOOTING in this game, like WAY TOO MUCH.

It looks like a separate mode with online contracts and (if they have learnt from watch_dogs to keep in an online free roam) there would be an online open world (with smooth changes in and out of it like in watch_Dogs)

Taskmaster Yes you can play alone but you can have fun with friends via Uplay who has the game....It's fun with friends :)
