I guess it's a matter of personal preference for a lot of people. But there's no doubt that Batter Up has been very successful. In their live concerts (technically "fan meetings") it's becoming obvious that Batter Up is a perfect hype song for concert performances. Audiences love singing along with the chorus, the beat is great, and really all of the parts of the song make it easy for the audience to get involved. It reminds me of Queen's "We Will Rock You" song. The members of Queen actually said at one point that the song was written with audience participation in mind. I think it's the same with Batter Up.

Thanks for the fun reaction! They all performed so well and proved that they can do great in any genre. I especially want to give flowers to Rami...not just for her main parts but also for all of the fantastic ad-libs that she did throughout the song (along with Ahyeon who also contributed some). Like from 3:45 (in this video) pretty much all of the high ad-libs (except for the final "where you need to be") are Rami. It's fun to watch their live performances and see how often you can spot Rami in the back lifting her mic to add harmonies and ad-libs.
