To find something like that is very jarring and upsetting. I thought you handled it well in the video, and you demonstrated real caring for someone's loss who did not handle it well. Keep magnet fishing, as no matter what recreational activity, other than sitting in your living room knitting, you have the potential to run into something upsetting like this. I have heard of people just out for a morning stroll running into something as or more distressing. Yes, you handled it well and you were discrete in how you did the video. You didn't show anything that was inappropriate. You did show that even doing something as inoscent as magnet fishing you can encounter something upsetting. Thank you and keep the faith!

I think you did the right thing with the rabbit. It was an upsetting find, and whoever did it was in the wrong. They may have thought they were doing the right thing, but in the end, it could have been a health hazard in the long run. Not exactly a Viking funeral that. Perhaps they were renters, and didn't know where they could bury it, but still, to put it in the canal...and cats HATE the water.

“the foot thing” you mentioned is a railway track holder/clamp they (single piece) sit either side of the track bolted to the sleeper!
