No offense, this sounds like a composition that already exists. Not really sure on how “sampling” works, but I think it has to be more than 30% different otherwise it is considered blatant forgery of someone else’s artwork… and it infringes on the creators rights . Just giving you a heads up if you want to help fight for justice and help prevent the blatant reproduction of someone else’s work for financial gain. I’m pretty sure it could even be considered identity theft and theft of intellectual property for financial gains at this point.
All melodies r made from scratch, samples have been purchased before use. Many songs use the same chord progression it doesn't make them the same.
You mention how this beat is similar to another. But you won't bring up the actual source of that song, nor the name of it?
I'd think maybe that's because a lot of songs in any given genre share the same identities as others. Does that also make them copies?
Or adaptions of their own work simply inspired by the genre. Something to think about.
Also want to mention how 90% of the american trap industry structures their composition in the same way, or very similar to the industry standard.
This is because the beat isn't going to sound exactly like the actual song if it ever comes out. You want the artist to structure it based on their vocals most of the time.
So there's no reason to complicate the composition before that stage takes place.
Anyways this is in no way or form considered theft by any law and it's not even close. I hope u learned something new broski, have a good day 👋
I’m sorry. It’s difficult to come up with something that doesn’t remind you of something else that exists. I apologize for jumping to conclusions. Awesome work!
Bro is yappin about nothing
