- Lorenzo tells Stephanie to not give up hope on getting back with Eric. Eric arrives and surprises Stephanie by telling her he's taking her to dinner. Ridge tells Grant and Connor that Brooke will not give up the Forrester company. Ridge forgot about his date with Taylor, who gets drunk on her own when she thought Ridge would not show up.

The eternal question that begs the question of this soap: why do beautiful women in Los Angeles keep hanging on to unavailable men, men that treat them like garbage or their quasi-brothers? Brooke, Taylor, Steffy, Hope, etc. I know, it's the drama of wringing in these men that makes the soap. These days, it's moved over to men: Thomas. Why does a rich, young man from a well-known family keep chasing his step-sister who he grew up with when she doesn't want him? Again, this is LA: choices are endless.
I miss Grant this old Ridge! Hell this Whole time period is So Much Better than this Shit They call Bold&Beautful😥Now of Days!

@@hraslan because Brooke practically shoved them in Ridges face, trying to make him jealous. When in the end he doesn’t do anything and just stays with Taylor because that’s who he wanted to be with. And Brooke ends up alone and desperate.

Ridge was her first major love and experience so no she's not like Scarlett. She wanted her first major love and fiancee and baby daddy.
Nobody forces Ridge to make decisions or act a certain way? HE chose to say in that meeting with Brooke, and HE chose to stand Taylor up. If he really cared for Taylor, he would have shown up. The fact that he prioritized his ex-wife over his fiance showed where his priorities are. Don't blame Brooke for Ridge's actions; he's a grown man who makes his own decisions.
