You guys know what’s so impressive. When you see the first minute of edits in this video, you think, I don’t think you could possibly go any faster on an mx track. However then u remember that this guy , although one of the top 50-100 riders in the world. The guys like roczen , tomac, are so much faster. No disrespect to Dylan Wright but as a mx rider from the 2000-2003 B class era . It shocks me at how fast these guys are now. You know everyone says oh these young guys if they had to ride the bike I was on back in the day they wouldn’t be any faster . Ohhhhhh hell yes they would. I coukdnt hold a candle to this type of bike control. I was a top 10-15, B class rider in rhe early 2000s ( on two stokes 2000-2002 ). Yet man there ain’t no way in hell I had that type of bike control where I could flick and sling rhe bike on the face of jumps anywhere near this kid, not even close. It breaks my heart to admit it because like many of u guys in your late 30s. We spent 20-30 hrs a wk riding from 10yr to 20yr old and we thought we were bad dudes in our area back in the day. Yet compared to even a mid level amateur today , we aren’t a piece of roost on these guys boots. It’s sad Man, what I wouldn’t give to have been 10 years later so that I could have learned to scrub like this at 10yrs old because something about learning to scrub at such a young it creates enormous learning curve growth in bike control. Now let me crawl back in my business guy hole and pretend in my head that I was really fast when I was young.
I feel like on a smooth track I can go just as fast as anyone for a few corners for a video … it’s in a race that is all the difference, on a rough track with other racers going for 30 + minutes is whole different ball game and very hard to do. But for a few corners , I can send it lol
I only do that to bring the whips back, usually it’s because the jumps to small for the size whip I’m doing , when I jump big jumps I don’t use the limiter as much
Dylan , love ur vids man but why do u have to put vulgar language in the clips via the sounds and music . I would love to share these with my nephews and my dad but atleast far as dads concerned he doesn’t wanna here that garbage and youngsters are gonna say it of course yet I’m not sending my kids and family a bunch of vulgarity . Your talent and skills are massive no need for including music from people are can barely pronounce the English language correctly .don’t know what it is without moto guys from the last decade who have these identity crisis from hell. Seriously every other 15-25 yr old mx dude I meet, half of them live in this world where they think they are part of the thug rap culture , yet while at same time being in the professional culture. They don’t see they whenever they are turned around literally all of those professional minded people are laughing at them for being like little alien moto thug boys I guess? Yeah bro i rep the upper middle class burbs bro. Hells yeah
Sorry about the music I’ll take that into consideration from now on! I think we use that music because these days it’s what gets views most people seem to like it! ( I’m not a massive fan ) , this video I decided to use Raw clips with no music , rock music and rap music to try make everyone happy but obviously that will never happen haha most people who ride dirt bikes and most people in Australia swearing is just a part of there vocabulary! But I understand your perspective and I’ll try my best from now on to clean it up a bit 🙌🏻 thanks for your feedback!
