    I have this for a Ram dually. I love it. You can buy extensions for the dually. With a 91 gallon fuel tank and a tool box at the tail gate it's too long to throw in the back. So all I did is remove the bolt that joins the 2 pieces. Then just pull them apart and toss them in the back. I pull for Jimbo and delivered a horse trailer to Jamestown ND. Just so happens the dealership and Rockstar are owned by the same person. So they had all products at the dealership. This is my 3rd rock guard and don't see any need to change for something different. Really enjoy your videos.

    There have been some question about the strength of the mud flap and any flexing at the ends. There is a 2" bar that runs from side to side on the back of the mud flap where the rubber attaches to the diamond plating. This gives the mud flap all the strength it needs. The diamond plating material is strong. It has held up very well. The rubber flap at the bottom has drug many times with no problems. I have had the mud flap for over a year and have not had any problems. My mud flap measures 82" wide. Rockstar also offers extensions for a dually. I don't think you can find a better mud flap. Like with any mud flap, you have to be careful backing up in mud or snow prevent it from getting caught and pulled off. If you are in that situation, you can very easily take it off until you are out of the situation. You can do that as easily with some of the other mud flaps.
    I agree with some of the comments, a padlock would be a good idea.

      I think being all black it gives the impression it's all rubber. I should have explained better that the rubber is just across the bottom

      Is this one with the adjustable rubber with heat shield? Nice looking truck. I have a 2020 2500 Denali also. Love it.

    I had seen those on an ad on Facebook. I sent a pic to my recruiter and he was skeptical that it would meet Indiana Transport standards so I just scheduled an appointment with Dan's to get one like everyone else has. If my orientation wasn't next week I'd own one of those.
    The option to take those godawful ugly things off easily would be awesome

      @@TravelinTim for Indiana Transport you have to have Dan's or Dually Depot "certify" your mudflaps and rock guard.

    I have that same mud flap on my Silverado I put locks on mine instead of the pins to keep someone from stealing it.

    • @CFarmer
      @CFarmer  2 роки тому +1

      I would do the same thing, does yours have reflectors?

    • @jasoncm32006
      @jasoncm32006 2 роки тому +1

      @@CFarmer no it doesn’t have reflectors.. my only complaint is the bolts that hold it together only screw into aluminum and they keep getting lose I’m thinking about drilling holes all the way through and putting bolts and locking nuts. My company doesn’t actually require the big mud flap so I don’t run it all the time.

    Curious how rigid it was on the sides... Especially the exhaust side... Looks like it would flex and flap a lot? I loved the design though and I'd love to be able to remove it when not in use.
