Hi Lee Great video and review of the OMP M-2 V2, I am just in love with the OMP M-2 heli's. I have wanted one for several years now and every time I save up enough something happens and I have to hold off. I just checked the price and I have to admit that it is $50 dollars less than the original M-2. I guess I'm going to need to get off my rump and start saving up. Thanks again for the video and information about the OMP M-2 V2.

Great review! I was lucky that I preordered mine about a year ago and got one of the first M2 EVO in Europe. I absolutely love it but I am still flying my "old" M2 V2. Especially one flight with the EVO, the next with the V2. I love both, but the M2 Evo is really a evolution that makes it even better than the "classic".

Very nice video...loads of effort in the making and very welcoming for people new to the hobby.....honest and sensible. Great you also promote the use of SIM as it’s the only way to fly competently while programming your brain to get to the next level. Crashes prevent progress as they cost so much time...around 7 hrs to rebuild a mangled frame and main shafts and set up again....smashed batteries and all this costs hundreds. When you do buy always get a Heli with disaster recovery facility...this saves a Heli most of the time when the pilot gets brain dead.

Could I fit a dji03 to this heli, does it have a port or a way to wire into flight controller, because obviously the 03 won’t go to full power unless it gets a signal from fc

No MSP telemetry from the inbuilt flight controller I'm afraid... Stay tuned for something that may be an option... Happy flying

I've just got one, it arrived with a zorro tx -( no instructions for either, and no batteries in the zorro!) What is the battery connector on the heli called? I've got a whole assortment of connectors for charging batteries, but nothing that fits this!

@Franky Flowers its hard but when you able to keepit in the air and make landings still in one peace you can fly everything easy (drones planes etc) if i can do it you can to lol. best help for me though wasnt the flight sim but a 4 channel fixed pitch than transitted to the biggers ones. sims helps a bit but take off is still a bit different becouse of the prop wash. small fixed pitch helis are lot les expensive and lot more crash resistant. when flying fixed pitch heli to the max the transition to normal heli is super easy with all the gyro's we now have! it fly like a fixed pitch heli and with one switch you go next level. etc etc. sure you can start with big heli but i learned the hard way, crashes cost a lot of money and learned so much from the small cheap fixed heli with out any repairs.

See my video in the series on using a quad to practice outside of a sim. Sims are fine but are not the only answer in my experience.

@@Painless360 I dont know about quads. I think a $50,ish fixed pitch helicoper (not coacial) is cheaper and closer to a big heli. also better for learning the rudder and propwash effects. The cheap ones are olmost bullet proof and the tail doesnt hold that good what forces to learn a good yaw controll. with drones most people forget a good yaw controll same for a lot of plane pilots. just my humble opinion and i could be totally wrong XP

Everyone has their own preference but I learned to do lots with a heli using a little indoor quad that saved me hundreds in repairs to helis. Quads bounce, helis don.t See my video on it ;)
