Kingdom Come: Deliverance is my number 1 favorite game of all time, period. I recommend it for people looking for an immersive realistic RPG Medieval game, as it is THAT realistic in terms of its plot, characters, gameplay, and historical and cultural accuracy (except for our character that is). NPCs respond to your deeds or misdeeds differently, multiple consequences for different dialogue or action choices. You can even lock yourself out of a questline if you either accidentally or deliberately kill NPCs with quests, late to protect said NPC(s) or taking too long in progressing a timed quest. My biggest tip is to be patient with the combat. You character is a nobody when the game started, so harming your opponent would be near impossible and VERY dangerous. Spend some time to practice your skills, upgrade your gears and weapons by any means necessary (I don't judge). Also DO NOT rush or collect multiple quests at the same time! If it looked too easy or too simple, it might have some underlying stuff you can uncover leading to multiple conclusions. Some quests are timed, so focus to one or two at a time and you'll be golden!
As someone who gets bored of games easily and expects a lot, I can recommend Days Gone, Witcher 3 (the card game alone is better than many games), Skyrim and Subnautica from this list. No Mans Sky has a lot of potential, but unfortunately I'm missing something that keeps me hooked for longer. It was fun, but the replay value and long-term play value is somehow missing for me. It's still a game I would recommend if you've never played it before. If you haven't played these games yet, I would at least recommend Subnautica because it's unique and it's a lot more than it looks.
neighter of the metro games count as a chronological storry, yes it is artiom, and yes, it remakns in one point but there are diferent events, with easter eggs, and more clues about the dark ones, with the game emproving in every game
My choice would be Crimson Desert, but it won't release until around May 2025. Current game, well, for me it's Ghost of Tsushima, but since graphics are subjective, just like about everything else in life, it depends on who you ask and what "you mean and expect" with graphics. Also, there are great "real life" graphics, "cartoon" graphics and "Asian cartoonish Anime" graphcs as well. It's just like each person's taste in men and women, food, movies, games, hobbies, etc. It's all in the eyes of the beholder.
I have fond memories of most of the games here, whole dragoonborn and using 100 different mods in skyrim, all the gang and the horses in rdr2, story and the world of witcher3, gintama esque game of yakuza, scifi fans dream cyberpunk, medieval europe of kcd, ac games, dd and so on.. I also like to add genshin impact to this list and how it kinda changed the gaming industry as well with anime style world of that quality.
That's not related to my channel, you should look for channels about modding games bro but if you want, I can personally help you! you can msg me on Discord! :D

Started playing Cyberpunk 2077 back in 2021 (about a year after release) and immediately fell in love with it. Tried Witcher 3, too, since it's from the same developers and everyone and their aunt seems to sing its praises. Oddly enough I couldn't get into it even though I wanted to.
I was the same way. I couldn’t get into it at first either. I put it down and went onto something else. But during covid I had a lot of down time and I picked it back up. I just have to say that I’m so glad that I did because it’s definitely one of the best games of all time!
the only reasons why I hate odyssey is because of the absence of the hiddenblade, I know we aren't an assassin one in this era but I still want a hidden blade regardless, would be so cool if it had one
Man, Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen is so good! I was disappointed in the second though. The first was said to only be 40% of what they originally had planned, yet the second one had even less outside of a bigger map. I played it once and moved on wondering if playing it all the way through was even the right call.
Its a fair video, but fundamentally flawed because.....open worlds and good graphics doesn't mean immersive :( Its so frustrating Immersion is eating, sleeping, having those life-sim moments. Having animations that add depth to the game - bending down to pick up herbs. Hell Farcry 3 was far more immersive than most of these simply because it limited you to a very few guns, you looted enemies by patting them down for ammo and cash. Thats immersive. Carrying 20 longswords in your backpack, crafting the exact same gun/sword but its so much better because you've 'leveled up' - that shits breaks immersion :(
Any video with "immersive" in it and includes Kingdom Come, Subnautica, NMS, Dragon's Dogma, Metro, is already a valid list. Just missing The Forest, Deadspace, and Alien Isolation, speaking of immersive of course
As someone who only plays multiplayer games and cant stand playing any single player games for more than 30min there are only a few that kept me playing till the end and that is RDR2, Witcher 3, Ghost of Tsushima. I will say though that I just find action combat sooo boring so unless the story is immensely captivating, I will not care even if the combat is good

"Out of all the modern Assassins Creed RPG games, Odyssey is the only one where players won't get bored that easily", I know that opinions are different, but Odyssey is literally the most boring AC RPG game, Origins is the one that is the least boring with fun story. Days Gone is a great choice BTW, too bad its underrated so most likely it will never get a sequel sadly.
The ladder half of the 1st act can feel a little slow, but by the second and third act, you really wont even be thinking about anything else as you immerse yourself into the games world.
