我觉得还不错。这个版本符合她目前的状态和沧桑的韵味。老歌迷不要总是拿她三十多年前的声线和风格和现在相比。就算你自己也不拿你五十多岁的身体质素和你二十多岁来比啦。
大家给多一点鼓励慧娴啦，比上一次By Heart 好多了，状态都比上一次好，做的歌效果也比上一次好，希望慧娴会慢慢恢复状态，越来越好、越来越好。
MV, 黑背景中有紅地氈, 大提琴, 加上爉燭, 幾有聖誕氣氛, 有點溫暖, 情調!! 唱出故事來! 也不錯!
其實唔淨止慧嫻把這首Joe le Taxi唱慢版，我剛看見法國女歌手Vanessa 在2009年再唱呢首歌又係用慢版，唔知點解時間久了，人喜歡唱慢版。
我本身唔係太鐘意陳慧嫻，但我覺得有驚喜喎！唔錯唔錯！ 點解一定要同舊既比較！？
不同演譯,不同味道, 所以授受不同。像欣賞藝品般以不同角度去找出味道,這才不會走寶。細聽一下她的唱功吧!

Love it! a new way of singing this classic song! good voice and very comfortable to hear. Love Priscilla the growing mature and gentle way of singing. It is soothing and cheerful to hear. Can't wait to hear the rest.

缺點：比起環球其他歌手mv差超過7倍
結論：仍然缺乏資源在她身上
PS: mv可以用live呢個方向拍(大把歌手都係咁拍),但呢個mv場地,燈光,setting所有detail位欠俸
畢竟是過氣了, 但是當年已經紅極一時, 應該沒有什麼遺憾了吧?

Disappointing, thought this comeback would be more of putting the past behind to move forward, yet after a year we are still hearing rehashing old songs and tired stories of her leaving the industry to further her studies and the death of her cat. While I appreciate the nuances of the new arrangements trying to spin a new flavour, there are moments where it gets a bit 'try-hard' and 'off', plus her voice and quality has aged and is no longer as crystal as it used to be. The overall offering seem to have devolved instead compared with my memory of the song she perfectly rendered decades ago. I have always loved her mid to deeper sound, perhaps a new album with new songs to reflect her having moved on to a new matured chapter would be more 'Evolve'd. rather than trying to sound young and cute clinging on to the past.
I don't think she is trying to sound cute at all. I also listened to the whole CD, it is an evolved indeed, though only apply on the old songs, everyone ages so if she sings based on original arrangement will not fit ( not all of course) any more . Old memories will always remained in her old release . New songs , sure we all wish but who pay? Who buy? Everyone has to make money or else who invest ? Just accept reality.
+Thomas Ip I wonder how many more people will pay for this wispy/jazzy rehashing & remixing of her old songs then, will be interesting to see how this album fares.
+kutzboy How ironic is it that she names this album 'Evolve', when she's doing anything but evolving. Priscilla distinctly reminded us that she wishes to 'move forward' during her Back To Priscilla 30th Anniversary 2014 Concert series. Having been an avid follower of her music for over 25 years, Evolve is underwhelming to say the least. Her voice has inevitably 'aged' per se, I'll give her that, she has no control over it. But let's take away the fact that her vocals have aged, her vocal stylings still resemble that of the 80s and 90s in majority of the tracks we hear on this album. It sounds and feels contrived, and it's especially apparent when she tries to be 'different' for the sake of being 'different', or 'evolved', however way you want to put it. Not to mention that the only difference I can cite on Evolve are the musical arrangements and production. Don't get me wrong, I am a fan, but I will forever speak the truth. Open your eyes and ears Priscilla supporters, this is definitely not my definition of 'Evolve'. To 'move forward' per se, one must continue to re-invent themselves. Releasing brand new original singles is one way to do it. Madonna, Janet Jackson, and Sandy Lam are prime examples of veteran artists who truly and continually re-invent themselves.
+Team Justin Homes And don't get me wrong too, I'm a massive fan for over 2 decades who buys her albums to give to friends to promote her and her songs, and I flew in to HK just to watch that 2014 concert - with her waving goodbye to that dress and all that talk about moving on. With this album it feels like all those speeches were just loads of crap, and they are just milking the songs or fans for all they can.
She is becoming (or already is) like one of those old singers stuck trying to relive in the glory days of her old songs and that is just so sad, instead of aging gracefully and reinventing appropriately like the diva she is and can be (still trying to show more skin in your next concert??!!... pse!).
Listening to this album again, I cringe every time she goes into that wispy/ gaspy/running-out-of-air sound (like she's compressing her vocal cords or whatever to sound young) and those try-hard jazzy vocal riffs/runs/embellishments. She may like the light and easy listening sound (or trying to sound like Sandy Lam?) but I find the type and quality of her rich voice just does not suit that genre and when she forces it, it gets contrived. I doubt this album will cycle more than a few times on my playlist, even her previous album 'By Heart' barely made 20 runs, unlike most of her older albums which has cycled hundreds and hundreds of times. If they want to do an album with old material, make sure it sounds better, not the other way.
Like said, I'm a big fan and I respect her way too much to make any false adulation to pander her so she makes another album with the same type of crap.
+kutzboy While Evolve did manage to debut atop the iTunes chart within two days of release, artistically it's a failure. I think she took on this project purely due to contractual reasons and the lack of brand new material, and being the aging diva she is, she has no choice but to do what Universal Hong Kong imposes on her, otherwise she'd be out of work. That's one way to stay afloat, or 'relevant'. Not to mention that Universal is totally leveraging the publicity from this album to promote her upcoming Priscilla-ism 2016 concert. But how does one explain how other artists under the same umbrella organization continue to release brand new original material, and yet not Priscilla Chan?
So far I've looped this album 3 times and I've lost my patience. Her vocal stylings fail to match the jazzy arrangements and production. And yes, she needs to lose that wispy/gaspy thing she does on the end notes, that's Shirley Kwan, and Kwan does it so naturally and flawlessly. The 'emotions' on Evolve also surface in the form of forced and contrived 'hiccup' sounds that she makes.
Priscilla Chan needs to have more autonomy in her work and take control of her career. This album was the ultimate deal breaker for me.
陈慧娴绝对是香港真正的天后，粤语歌曲天后， 认同的在评语记得点赞

又要扮 Jazz，奈何千編一率
其他未聽, 但呢首正正失去了原曲的輕鬆的感覺. 希望碟內其他歌的翻唱版會好些吧
