Flash Flood Fatal Kentucky

The Nicholas County, KY Fire Department recovered the body of a female flood victim Friday Morning (July 28th 2023) after this home was swept off its foundation and torn apart. Estimates of 10 inches or more of rain fell in the county overnight and into the morning causing flash flooding. The county received other damage to Homes, buildings, roads and crops.
