I was actually thinking Clockwork Hermit. Based off of a hermit crab, he'd have claws that would look like a clock's hands, and he'd also have a clock embedded into his shell that would let him slow down time.

I don't think I get what sound you're talking about. Is it the vibraphone accompaniment when the melody kicks in? Or is it in the intro?
Because besides that, I really only used different synths.

Synthescissor it starts at 0:13, then gets vibrant at 0:19, goes back down one second later but keeps playing and then rises at 0:25 then plays very quietly for the rest of the loop until it loops again.

The only issue I have with these, is that the main instrument being used here is *WAY* too loud. It tends to drown out the rest of the song.
