Wow, never would've thought of advancing JQ with Sunday to achieve that! Great run as usual. As annoying as the hit distribution is, I have to admit I like the AS version of this boss much more than the MoC ver. It's more interesting (let me beat it with Argenti despite him not getting Robin lmao), and I feel like I would even like fighting it if there wasn't so much missing info. The mechanics are very unclear and it kinda ruins it (but that boss isn't the only one with that issue unfortunately).
Wow an Argenti clear sounds interesting. I think one of my biggest gripe with the boss in its current iteration is that it is extremely beefy. And many AOE DPS don't use the buffs very well, Acheron (and I guess Argenti too) just happen to be able to abuse one. And yeah the mechanics are awfully explained. Especially the breaking mechanism. Who even breaks 1/7th of total toughness? And the total toughness isn't even divisible by 7... Compared to the MOC variant, I'd say my gripe with fighting the MOC variant is really just... fighting the first wave of that stage because it's pretty awful in its own right.
@@EiDehGaming Of course I didn't clear in 150 AV haha. But I found Argenti to be performing quite well in AS overall. I don't have good enough gear (or the LCs) to achieve that, but I think a combination of Sunday + 2 among Sparkle/Robin/JQ could work well for a low AV clear. I actually have a pretty decent eagle set so maybe I should try that too, in a Sunday + Robin + JQ team. And yes that boss is extremely beefy and the buffs are kinda trash...I initially put Acheron side 1 so Argenti was my only option. But yeah I didn't realize it was breaking 1/7 out of 130 so when reading your explanations I was also "???" like what is this bullshit. That was certainly a choice. Can't disagree with the first MoC wave being awful haha.
what's crazy is that I own this team with similiar gear quality and there's ZERO chance I could manage doing this. Very cool to see skill expression in this game, which I would often feel is short on it.
the sunday to jiaoqiu strategy works insanely well it's kinda funny. idk how to explain this but acheron here is like xiangling, not attacking a lot but being the burst off-field dps while the enabler (jq) got the most turn HAHA nice video!!!
I used Acheron for this boss too and it felt awful without action advances, so I used Jade lol Acheron as Debt's collector gave jade many hits to actually break the boss really, I'm happy it worked despite my E0S1 Acheron using only 1 nihility on the team
Another great run! Pretty interesting as I initially thought simply having Jiaoqiu would make this way easier. In my own attempts (Gui, Pela, Gallagher) I'm short about ~25% HP after Acheron's ult, which I thought was fixable by JQ. It was also after running Gui that I realized I really overlooked JQ's low energy cost. Another jab at my poor decision making lol. I've also tried Himeko but her FUAs getting delayed was detrimental, nor can I break early for her. I'm giving up and settling with 3672, guess it's decent for a JQ-less run. I do think the gimmick is somewhat more interesting than the MOC version, a shame that it mostly became a mere AOE frequency check.
Yeah Gui's ult is pretty high cost in comparison. Also I believe there's a real difficulty trying to max stack firekiss on this boss because they don't really take many actions
I’m glad you’re done with busy stuff boss, I myself just made it home after finals too. Feels like I haven’t played HSR in a hot minute. “The” Herta is just so far away right now though… (I fear there’s never been a character who’s design I like this much on sight, I’m so excited) Using advance on jiaoqui to fix the no lingsha problem is honestly pretty novel, though as someone who doesn’t own jiaoqui, I didn’t quite understand just how accessible his ult can be. TV rng to cover the holes looked brutal though, I hope this didn’t take too long to execute. And yea im glad you made that note about Acheron stacks that all looked so weird when watching the showcase. Wonder if they’ll do anything to fix it. Great run though, I’ve still got nothing that can take on this guy personally though, but I have tried. Got a sunday ratio clear against svarog, it felt good to through chalk again. Sunday does so much for him though it felt pretty nice. Minus the fact that I still needed a nihility in the team… Now that fugue is out on content sever, she’s… interesting. Weak personal damage, toughness contribution, way too good of a lightcone, can’t hold DDD, but her damage amp is ridiculous to make up for it. I don’t think she can fix my no lingsha problem at all (replace lingsha in break teams such as for this MoC tv boss) but I’ll have to wait and see what she can really provide because it’s looking a bit iffy for me atm. Also, f2p savings got cooked by losing sunday lc and I’m getting herta too all before we start to get remembrance dps characters and the other chrysos heirs… I might be cooked.
🎉 gratz on finishing your finals. And yea 2.7 feels like it's been forever and it's not even the 2nd banner yet lol. Wanted to point out, if the TVs triggered 1 more energy on phase 2 (4 instead of 3 total), this run has 0 RNG. Alas I have no clue what's going on and I think it's a testament to the impossibility of getting 4 charges that I managed to get this pretty ridiculous RNG outcome before one with 4 energy which leads me to believe 4 energy is impossible. My biggest concern for Fugue is always the toughness contribution. Regardless of how you swing it, break teams are always heavily bottlenecked by the initial break. And it's kind of an all or nothing situation where 1 additional hit against a non-broken target could lead to a massive loss in DPS. We'll see how it plays out. As an example, I'm not sure if Fugue can replace JQ in my Boothill 0-cycle of Hoolay because JQ can ult twice but I'm not sure if Fugue can.
About JQ ult, it looks like it's not only about break or I dont understant smth. On 2:58 right inner tv dont give stack on break. On 3:06 after Acheron ult left tv get action (it's 38 AV after acheron ult so it's another turn) and it dont give stack for acheron while JQ ultimate was still active. On 3:24 JQ ult ended so break didnt give stack. It looks like on 2:58 JQ 6 debuff application were already used but it was less then 6 enemy action if I didnt miss anything, which looks weird. It looks like left energy tv action on 2:08 also didnt give stack and there is no any stacks from JQ ultimate from start of second phase to next ult 3:29
After they break, they take an action which is enough to get hit by the field effect to give Acheron 1 charge. But this can only occur once a turn so 2:58 that TV never got a turn to reset this count. It can't be the 6 debuff count since JQ only just refreshed right before P1 break. It's (I'm guessing) the reason why both 2:08 and 3:06 don't give a stack is because they're 1-application-per-turn was already consumed on the previous phase and only just got their first turn to reset this. It's why later, they do produce 1 stack each on break, and it's actually consistent that these 2 always give a stack. The bigger mystery is actually why a third TV gives energy, and it's not at all consistent who gives this energy as I've seen all 3 of the remaining TVs give it. 3:24 was my mistake was I kind of forgot JQ's field expired there. Though I can say that I've ran quite a few other rotations where JQ's field never expired and still never managed to get more than 3 charges from Acheron's energy.
Great run, I'm slightly surprised this isn't a Jade run considering how busted she is here. About the energy, I suspect it has got to do with either the TV resisting the DoT application from the breaking, or maybe Jiaoqiu ult running out sooner than expected (I believe their additional action upon breaking that gives us the buff will give one stack to Acheron too from Jiaoqiu's ult) About Jade, there is a really interesting thing where if you open with Jade, Jiaoqiu and Acheron, you can instantly break the leftmost TV, though I'm still not sure where the 3rd hit actually comes from. But aside from that, Jade is an amazing character here since she is the character that has the fastest AoE attack speed in this stage, bar none. Himeko could be interesting if she doesn't have that weird lag where she cannot FUA immediately after breaking (I think this has got to do with the TV giving the buff, interrupting her). Lingsha was an option I was attempting too, but she is kind of awkward all around to force into this stage at this pace. (I'm just ranting because I have spent over 800 attempts here already and I need to share my findings)
I believe both Jade and JQ's techniques count as attacks (JQ's technique can proc Robin's Concerto dmg and Feixiao's FUA), together with Acheron's actual offensive technique count to 3. Sounds like a pretty interesting opening though I've generally found E0 Acheron with 1 Nihility generally lacking. Lingsha is definitely super awkward without some Sunday + Lingsha combo because there really aren't enough turns for her to ult frequently. Fuyuan is also too slow on its own. Anyway about the energy, this is a copy-paste of a response to someone else: After they break, they take an action which is enough to get hit by the field effect to give Acheron 1 charge. But this can only occur once a turn so 2:58 that TV never got a turn to reset this count. It can't be the 6 debuff count since JQ only just refreshed right before P1 break. @EiDehGaming Whoa, that once per turn makes way too much sense. I have always internalised it as once per action, which is seriously throwing me off here. By the way, isn't the 3 energy being given at around 3:35 not simply just the buffs from the 3 tvs broken? Before Jiaoqiu's ult, you were at 2/9, his ult will put you at 3, and the first action post ult already gave the extra stack to Acheron, thus her counter was at 4 already. The debuff being applied can be seen on each of the 3 as they are applying their buffs for the team. After all, the AA TV had not yet consumed that 1/turn Ashen Roast ever since Phase 2 started. I guess this also implies that breaking counts as a new turn for enemies?
@@notsawaLuna The TVs being broken themselves don't give anything but they take an action which as only rereading JQ's ult today, I realized it's enough to give Acheron 1 charge if their 1 per turn trigger is still available. So you're right that Acheron goes from 2/9 to 6/9 is from JQ's ult + 3 TV broken extra action. The question is why were 3 TVs ready to give energy when only 2 TVs managed to get a turn between their break on P1 and break on P2 (to refresh their trigger). The crux of the issue is that only the 2 left TVs get a turn to refresh the trigger, so if my theory is right, them dropping energy on the break on P2 is correct. The dino I messed up and kind of forgot the field ended there. But that leaves the 2 right TVs who have similar circumstances. They never took a turn between P1 break and P2 break and both 'consumed' their once a turn trigger in P1. So why did the SP TV not trigger the field but the energy one did? And to add to this, I've tested with different break orders and have seen both the dino and the SP TV trigger the 3rd energy but have never seen the total trigger count be more than 3. Some real strange stuff is going on lol
@@EiDehGaming Okay I am finally caught up to speed with this comment.
