pro tip to those who hate units that block/deflect almost everything :
Use units that shoot un-blockable projectiles (wizard's lightning, boulder, catapult rock, cannonball, bomb cannonball dragon flame, etc.)

Baron to kill the deflect god you need to use cannons and catapults. The unit uses the 'godlike projectile block' but that doesn't block cannon-balls.
Unit/Mod Idea: Here's an idea: what if you were to create a new faction, called the trash faction? Like garbagemen? Some units I thought of could be a standard garbageman, and he wields a trash bag full of trash, which he can throw and/or hit people with. Then there would be the Trash bin driver, a cavalry unit that would run a trash bin into enemy lines at fast speeds. The next idea is the Trash Truck, which would drive in and ram troops, maybe spilling some trash bags in the process. The final troop idea is the dumpster-chucker, which would be a dumpster, that then throws and massive salvo of garbage at the enemy troops, dealing massive AOE damage, but taking a while to reload. The garbage could have two effects, one is the smelliness effect, which is similar to the scared effect from the spooky faction, but instead, when a garbageman throws a bag if garbage at an enemy soldier, they get the stink effect, making others soldiers run away from them, being very good at breaking formation. Also, occasionally a bag could break, sending trash onto the field and making enemies slip in the trash. Just an idea, feel free to add more, but I just thought it could be an interesting/funny mod to use. If you took the time to read this, then thanks you!

Did you try to use the sword of the swordcaster to open the door? Because there is a slot on the sword and there is also a door in the spooky faction where the swordcaster is from. You can try to become the swordcaster and shoot the sword in the 🔒 and if that doesn’t work in the normal faction, you might want tk use it in the spooky faction.

the picture of 12:48 though, holy cow. I think he's basically invincible to in-game characters. maybe you should make a custom guy meant to defeat him. Maybe give him lots of health, speed, and melee damage so he can do damage from behind? or maybe use lodas of the german commander guys who can call artillery strikes

I actually made a character called the brick wall that was literally just a dude with the godlike projectile block ablility, not a thing could touch him at range. I through a dozen lines of muskets, a row of hwachas, even some custom characters with miniguns at him, projectiles can't hit, literally nothing gets through with godlike projectile block. and then of course I threw him up against one single spearman and he died immediately, but you know still a pretty good run.

You need to do 100 or 1,000 shieldmen of each type, with the same number of archers each time, and then calculate survival%. The more guys you use, the more accurate your results. That's how science works.
Which is not to say his tests were inaccurate. Just that they have a greater tendency for high variance
Really, more than large numbers, you would want to repeat the battle with each unit as much as possible without changing any variables then take the average of units survived per round. The more times you repeat the experiment the more accurate the data
