Tried (4) different high end tuners, went back to APR. my SQ5, 2 A4’s, golf R, stage 3 GLI, all APR… JHM for my (2) N/A 4.2L audis. But APR is my go to…. Now I’m in the merc world, but if I ever come back to Audi it’s APR all day long!
Love my APR Plus tune.... My reasons are more based around warranty protection since I have a 2021 model S5 and only have 91 octane in So Cal. Can't wait to see how the APR tune sounds with the AWE Switchpath exhaust. The sound got so much better on the stock system with the tune. It's a bummer they stopped the stage 2 program but I get it.

I did not purchase any extra warranty so only have the standard 50,000 mile warranty. I am thinking of just getting the tune now with the warranty but don’t know if I should wait until my first service.
Yep. What I was getting at is, the car idles at higher RPM on APR and I think they open the exhaust valves more. All these things make the car run a bit louder overall, which isn’t a bad thing, more a matter of taste.
@@Vaguh Exhaust value tuning is different when in motion for sure. I don’t think the idle is changed from stock, S mode opens the exhaust and idles higher than D mode on the stock tune as well. Loving my APR 93 tune with the APR intercooler. I can’t wait for APR to put out an intake the B9 S4.

How does the transmission behave after the tunes? Stock to me it seems a bit slow 1st to 2nd, especially when cold. Had it changed any of the behavior?
