Hey man, I stumbled across your video and thought I'd join the conversation. Being Scottish and born a few towns over from where the band were born I can tell you that "your haunt" is a scottish slang term for "your home". This makes a lot of sense when you say Simon talked about lockdown being an influence. Hope this helps bro and hope you continue to enjoy the biff
So glad you got into Biffy man. Their music will change your life I can promise you that ! Can’t wait to hear more reactions from this great Scottish band 😃
Great to see you getting into Biffy! Loving your reactions! They are an incredible band, Simon is a fantastic song writer and guitarist and they are off the scale live! Recomend to check out some of their live stuff. They have a huge back catalogue for you to get into.... You won't regret it! Keep rocking! Liz, UK
The other members that popped up in the live version aren't full time members of the band but live touring members. The guitar player is called Mike Vennart. Can't remember the name of the keyboardist. But yeah you are right in saying there are only 3 of them
I loved when you said " this one has less twists and turns" then it twisted and turned on you lol. Would be cool to see your reaction to "Living Is A Problem Because Everything Dies" if you really wanna go on a journey.
HUGE Biffy fan for the last few years... "Black Chandelier" was the first song I heard and was hooked from the start. Then "Opposite" shattered my soul. Their live performance is stellar. I hope you find this intriguing and I suggest you listen to the Opposites album from top-to-bottom 🤘🖤🤘😎🫶
I was waiting for you to notice the second guitarist. LOL That's Mike Vennart, the touring guitarist. He's so good at lurking in the shadows. The band being in the round made him easy to miss.
That most played part, that you called hope....I can so hear bagpipes being plugged into the song right there. The band is a 3 piece, with keyboardist and second guitarist for touring/live performance.
Simon plays a lot of instruments and will do so for recording. Then they have a few touring musicians for live performances. One of the few bands who are better live than Recorded
The additional guitarist and the keyboardist are Mike Vennart and Richard "Gambler" Ingram, they had a band called Oceansize, amazing band, do some reactions of that band, man! And they play together in Vennart, the guitarist´s main project!

The bass player and drummer are twin brothers and the Drummer Ben has a really good voice he sings backing vocals on alot of their earlier stuff

They have a guitarist who plays live with them so he was doing the bit when Simon was singing

Awesome song. With the exception of one song that I’m personally not a fan of the whole album that this & Unknown Male 01 is off is great.

Yes! I wonder what he would think of Unfamiliar.
