Who made your sump and refugium? It looks very nice.

“Aquarium and Terrarium Builder” out of VA. Look him up on FB. He built the tank and sump. I’ve had zero issue an it’s been up and running since 2019

What is the size of the white PVC fitting from your refugium to the bottom of the roller mat?

Since the RE is German that fitting is metric. I believe it’s 40mm or 32mm I’ll have to check. Either way it was difficult to find metric on one side and standard on the other side.

Thanks for showing! How often do you change the roller? How silent is it? Is it worth the price compared to the clarisea or deltec? Thanks for your input!

I love the unit! By far one of my favorite purchases. If I could do it over I would do the automatic version though. I have to manually roll the roller 2 times a day once in the morning and once before bed. The rolls last approximately 6 weeks with my heavy bio load of 9 tangs, one puffer, two triggers, and 2 hogfish plus a boat load of smaller stuff (over 40 fish total). I personally choose the Royal Exclusiv unit over the others and I’m no fan boy as this is the only RE product I own. Highly recommend it!

@@BLUEYAMAHAR1 thank you! Have you noticed a drop in nitrate ans phosphate since you are using the fleece?

Also, what made you go with RE over all the other brands?

@@i2ik absolutely a drop in Nitrates and phosphates. I could not get Phosphates to drop using GFO. I had to use expensive ROWA and change it every 2 weeks. Now my Phosphates are .05 with no GFO or ROWA.

@@i2ik recommendations from users on FB, ease of operation, ease of roll changes (don’t even get your hands wet), number of inputs (5 if needed) and design.
