He was my instructor several times at the Animation studio back when it was open, and he was very encouraging when I told him that I wanted to be the animation instructor when I grew up. He gifted me a drawing and some of his pencils, as well as some tips. I still have my Donald Duck/Darth Maul drawing he did on my bulletin board, and I'm in art school now, applying for the Disney College Program. 😊

Pooh and Mickey are probably the easiest characters for me to draw, since they both are simply circles with slight embellishments. Characters like Donald Duck on the other hand are a bit more complex for me.
he got the origin of Winni the pooh wrong. it was based on a Canadian soldiers pet bear Winni named after his home town of Winnipeg. its a pretty famous story in Canada

It takes getting used to. That's how my teachers wanted me to hold a pencil but I couldn't do it all the time.
