- Piers Morgan Uncensored is joined by journalist and author Douglas Murray, Canadian-Palestinian Doctor Dr Izzeldin Abuelaish and co-founder of the Muslim Debate Initiative Abdullah Al Andalusi to react to Piers' controversial interview with Islamic extremist and NHS doctor Abdul Wahid on yesterday's episode after he refused to call Hamas' attack on October 7th a terrorist attack.
Piers begins by asking what Izzeldin thought of Abdul's interview yesterday, and whether he feels comfortable having an NHS worker who supports terrorism. Izzeldin explains that Jihad is used when talking about fighting against evil, not always within the context of terrorism which is the popularly Westernised definition of the word.
Piers asks Abdullah whether he thinks the October 7th attack was a terrorist act. Abdullah explains that by Piers' definition of terrorism (the mass killing of innocent civilians) it would be - but points out the same should apply to rthe IDF's killing of innocent Palestinian civilians in Gaza. Douglas contests this, explaining that it is not calculated attacks on civilians unlike Hamas' and that Israel is trying to target the terrorist organisation.

You may argue that any world leader that starts a war is evil and i will grant you that, but islam is a religion that would start a war with Glee, because they think that their God has given them the licence to do so. There is nothing more dangerous for the human species than a group of people who think that God is on their side in committing evil acts, or in the words of Weinberg, "With or without religion, good people can behave well and bad people can do evil; but for good people to do evil - that takes religion."
There will always be evil in this world. We simply cannot erase it but Islam is a darker shade of evil and it needs to either go away or be reformed.
Imagine this; you're trapped in a room with another man and this man is motivated to kill you but he knows what he's doing is evil and so you have some chances of persuading him out of it, with reason, and the hope that somewhere in his heart, there must be some love left that can change the course of his decision.
Now replace him with a firm Muslim who's about to kill you in the name of God. What can you say? What can you do? He believes that what he's doing is good. It's what his God commands. It's what will bring him the biggest reward in heaven. It's what will strengthen his brotherhood. It's what will promote goodness in this world.
Do you see the kind of evil we're dealing with here. What we think is evil - is good for them. How long until they get their hands on weapons of mass destruction? How long until they populate the whole of America, Britain and Europe and other parts of the world? How long until they convince everyone that to criticise them is to misunderstand their religion?
Something horrible is going to happen in our lifetime, and everyone is starting to sense it. How wonderful it would be if we could all just unite and live in harmony but unfortunately, there are certain ideas in this world that are simply not compatible with human well being, and if we don't fight it now, we might as well unbolt the door when they reach our doorsteps.

I have seen some of the best acting out side of Gaza hospitals, men dressed in women's Islamic clothing, they get out of the ambulances (you can see they are men by their hands and the way they walk) cameras are ready to see the ambulance arrive, and young men (none with scratches or even bruised) running with dead children or injured children on stretchers...its one big Act 1 scene 2 for Hamas and the so called Palestinian innocent people who support and want the death. @Thomas-yf5fk Avoidance tactics? It has a very valid point... the definition of terrorism is subjective dependant on which side you're stood on. Every country has done awful terrorism throughout history, especially the west. Unlike these guys though I do not condone the actions of Hamas against civilians. I also do not support the oppression and murder of Palestinians. Hamas are not Palestine... Just like the Taliban are not Afghanistan or ISIS are not Syria.

One thing I’ll say is the amazing thing about being in the health field is different people you work with and have to collaborate with to give care. The doctor has worked with Israeli doctors and saved lives in both sides. These are the kinds of collabs we need in all fields. Our work and jobs matter. How we work together for each other. We aren’t all doctors, we don’t get to work with and learn to work with others we don’t agree with- certainty not to the same degree. Ok deduct 20% of the figure of 20,000. It is still 16,000. Deduct 30% it is still 14,000. Deduct 50% it is still 10,000. However, those numbers, in a state of war, are actually measly. Civilians do die, especially in missile attacks, but they’re not the target.
It is clear that the large majority of the IDF (not all, of course), are not ordered to intentionally kill civilians. If they were, you’d not have merely 20,000- you’d be looking at hundreds of thousands of civilian deaths. Especially in a country as densely populated.
Compare that with Hamas, who do purposely target civilians in order to push their political aims, and you’ll notice that the ratio of civilian deaths in relationship to time, number of operations, number of soldiers etc drastically increases.
