Six years later and this tutorial is still a valid and powerful one. Thank you.
Normally I don't watch lengthy tutorials because it have 2 minutes thing and they stretched it to 10 minutes,
But in your case your every second totally worth it.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
6:10 this is why i love this channel so much because it's not only show photoshop tricks but also explain mechanics behind it. Thank you very much for you tutorials! it helps me a lot!
You are one of the best teachers . I wish you make an After Effect tutorial like this.I love to learn concept just like you explain in PhotoShop tutorials.
Finally...a tutor that explains in detail, and layman simplicity, the technical aspects Colour and it's use within Photoshop. Thank you sir !
You're a natural teacher. I don't think i've understood this much from other videos on the same subject. Thanks!
Seriously, one of, if not the best Photoshop instructor on UA-cam. I only recently discovered your channel and can't wait for every new video. When Adobe hires you and pays you big bucks, please don't stop making videos. I am a HUGE fan. Thank you.
Best explanation of using curves for color casts yet!! I finally understand. My thanks!
what I like from your channel is the basic understandings you put and share.
Love your tutorials. Always very concise, and detailed without overcomplicating the subject.
Thanks for this Unmesh, this helped remove a horrible yellow/green colour cast from my photomontage image. I had tried all sorts of methods unsuccessfully until I tried yours. I'm finding you are my GoTo for all things Photoshop and have passed your details to my friends.
Sending you so much love!! Thanks!
You are magic, Unmesh! Thanks for sharing this!!
I usually don't follow too much this kind of video, but I love your "know the tools" concept. You got a new unusual subscriber
This video is all I needed, the best one I've seen so far!
You are awesome btw
I love the fact that you show the why. It means to me I will remember it.
Straight to the point, simple and efficient, just what I was looking for: many thanks!
Thanks, Understanding the concept is really more important than knowing just the process
THANK YOU SO MUCH! Not only did you help me, but I also learned from this video! I'm subscribing!
Thank you. You are very good at what you do. Technical competence AND a good sense for teaching.
Not only do you know your photoshop, you know how to do tutorials.
I'm easily confused and when I'm about to be like doh, what do I do! you're already addressing it, LOVE IT.
Absolutely a brilliant explanation of the science behind the curves adjustment. My ancestors and I thank you!
Your tutorials have helped me to grow my confidence and put into reality what was in my Imagination👍🙂 And its not a false comment for commemt sake...I really appreciate your work👍
Another awesome tutorial! You have such a gift for teaching as you explain everything in such a concise manner and so easy so understand. By the way, your cousin is absolutely adorable. Thanks for sharing!
YES!!! I have CS, but the basic process has not changed. I took a terribly yellowed art print and restored it to better than original! Thank you, sir!
Nicely clarified the colour concept !
you definetly are a great teacher.
Learning so much from this channel, many thanks.
Nicely explained, Thanks. But I would like to note that the curves was being used in normal more. It acts different in Color and Luminosity modes which is great (color>saturation, luminosity>tones). I wish that the next iteration of Lightroom would have the curves where one can switch between these two modes. I get tired of dealing with the saturation when I want to just change the tones. Perhaps you can do a follow up on curves and the blending modes? Again, well done and Thanks!
Photoshop masterclass in approachable manner, now i need to get a hat to be able to tip it to you good sir.... 2,3% actively like this.... ridiculous, i rely on bookmarks and don't rly feel like subscribing but for the sake of algorithm, subbed.
You are so helpful! Thank you.
Excellent tutorial. Thanks for your time.
Great explanation! Presented clearly and informative. I've not yet seen a curves video this good. Thank you.
For a young man you are an excellent teacher. I can't wait for your next tutorial thank you.
Excellent tutorial. Clearly explaining how curves can help solve colour cast issues. I am also impressed by the responsiveness of your Dell lap top in all your Photoshop video tutorials. My Dell is slow and prone to stalling. I'm in the market for an upgrade and wonder what minimum computer specs you would recommend?
Another great compact tutorial! May I suggest one thing: what you are calling "...the number of pixels..." in the Curves Y-axis is correct, but staying with Photoshop nomenclature, you might want to also say "saturation."
Dude you are crushing it! such a great channel and great job on explaining what you are doing. A+ work, keep it up!
Thank you for the clear explanations!
Awesome tutorial! Thanks a lot.
Excellent tutorial. Well done!

Master class, as always!
You are best man!
Great lesson..You make my day..Thanks
Very nice video. Thank you very much for your time and effort.
BTW... I use the HSl panel in LR to deal with colour cast. However...that applies this effect to the whole photo and there's no way of limiting this effect to a part of the photo. One has to use PS to be able to mask the effect.
If it is green grass cast , I have found that adding blue in curves (from 136 to 130 in the midtones) makes the trick. (Subtracting yellow) Don't ask me why, but it just works.
Awesome man. You are great👍
You do an amazing job, brother. And you teach well, and fluently at that. This kind of talent is rare. You should interact with your comments more though :)
Best useful video 👍

Good video man, very nicely done.
Anyway did i hear it right, sister/cousin? Huh?
In india they call their cousins "sister" just like they call really close male friends "uncle"
Amazing
Outstanding.....😊
how to remove yellow stain from white and preserve z texture?
I have a white persian cat. She has yellowish tears stains under her eyes and same on n under her chin. Im using hue/saturation settings to reduce the yellow there n thats more or less ok, BUT after that instead of yellow purplish color appears, so how to beat it? Color replacement brush doesnt work for me (coz its important to preserve the fur texture) coz no matter what I do it picks either purple, pinkish or grey color 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ balance yellow with blue also doesnt help coz on the remaining white coat that bluish spot looks obvious... white balance also does weird color casts... so what to do? 🤕🤕🤕
Thanks bro for all your videos. You're great ^_^
PS : Your sis is really cute
Superb video
Explained in deep
oh, it is so interesting techniques but what is use type of screen recorder software?
That is a beautiful child... And also excellent tutorial.
great tutorial
excellent, thx a lot!
Hello Mr Umesh, wen I tries to make use of my curve the RGB won't display, can you help?
Can you sort an impossible magenta/red cast where there are literally no green pixels in the image so it seems impossible to increase them!
first thanks for the interesting tutorial, but I have a problem I can't remove the color cast coz it was heavy even though I tried to increase the green heavily to remove the magenta spot on one of the faces in my picture while using a mask to protect rest of the picture.
would you explain to me why??
i hv a quest .. hope u ll mention it in ur tuto.. How to remove or reduce Shadow/Black cast under eye n neck etc, when an image is taken during NOON ?
Dr. Harshwardhan photoshop can be used to alter or enhance an image but the image had to be a decent one to begin with. There is no substitute to good photography and on top of that there is photoshop to touch up minor glitches here and there.
i gt it ..thnx ! 😊
