- Narges was at home today when the phone rang. An unknown voice named Milad on the other end of the line said that he needed her help to investigate Mehdi, her ex-husband. Narges, who was a little worried, decided to go to a place in the green to meet Milad.
When he got there, Milad was playing with his wife and a small child. Milad told Narges that Mahdi went to their house and asked his sister to marry him, while he claimed to be single. Narges said sadly: Mehdi is my ex-husband and we are separated.
Narges then explained the truth to Milad and told about her problems with Mehdi, including drug addiction and the harassment that puts pressure on her. Narges cautiously added: "I don't want to be in anyone's life, but I wanted to say these things so that you are informed."
Narges urged Milad not to tell Mehdi this information, because if Mehdi found out, it might cause him trouble. Milad thanked Nargis, promised to keep the information secret and left.
After Milad left, Narges felt a sense of fear. He couldn't stop thinking that Mehdi might find out about this conversation. He looked at the clock and said to himself: "I have to get rid of Mehdi as soon as possible and bring peace back to my life." Nargis decided to be careful in the coming days and avoid any movement that might endanger him.
