Love it. Would love the hauling capacity to be more than 580 lbs. Hard to fill water tank (240 lbs) an pull with any gear, 2 kayaks (300 lbs) 2 ebikes (100 lbs) food, clothing. Already over weight! I would request the privacy shades and bug screens be flipped. Pull privacy from bottom, bug from top, so you can have both at 50%.
Interesting design. Only issue I'd have would be the kitchen outside. Great way to secure the door. However, with the awning being self retracting. It would be nice to provide covering for the kitchen outdoor directly! Possible change the door to open up-wards to cover the kitchen!
NiIce innovative trailer! Few questions: 1) does it come in other color choices besides green? 2) can lithium batteries and inverter be increased? 3) can water fill be locked? 4) does the kitchen have to be out to use the shower? 5) can you sub in a Laveo dry flush toilet? 6) does the AC work without shore power? If not, can it none made too with more lithium batteries and larger inverter? 7) can you have it built without the overhead light that’s under the top bed? 8) can the bottom sofa be removed? 9) warranty and where can it be serviced? 10) price?
I agree, a nice very innovative camper ! 😊 Some additional thoughts below… 11. The lower bed/lounge area needs to be able to be lowered so that the upper bed can be lowered further down for easier access. My wife doesn’t have the mobility to go up and down a ladder that distance. 12. When the back upper hatch in is in the up position you need to be able to lock it in the up position AND you need a mesh bug screen you can pull down and cover the whole back hatch area. 13. The water fill and drain water hatches need to be inside the camper behind insulated exterior doors. (four seasons camper ?) 14. Are there any options to put a smaller rectangle window on the back hatch and have another smaller rectangle window opposite the larger window on the right side ? I would like to have a cross breeze across the bed. 15. Do you have attachments to mount bikes on the side of the camper instead of kayaks ? A Molly panel mount instead of kayak mount would be nice. 16. Please put the solar panels on mounts so they are OFF of the roof of the camper. This helps keep the camper cooler and the solar panels will be more efficient with the cooler air underneath the panels. 17. On the fender flares put them on brackets so that the fender flares could be raised for larger tires for off road use. 18. An air suspension auto leveling feature would be a VERY nice option. I’m assuming all of the water tanks are inside(?) the camper. If you could minimize the windows a little bit and increase the insulation a little be more and make a true four season camper I’d definitely buy one. Also, on the four season camper please bump up the ground clearance as it is needed for many boon docking areas. I live in the Rocky Mountains and we like to winter camp so a four season camper is MUST for us. 😊
Two thoughts, immediately upon seeing Tom show the kitchen slide out: 1. Why not switch the door and have the kitchen open towards the front of the trailer (180º from where it opens)? When someone is cooking and especially when the fridge is slid out to access it, no one can use that door to enter or exit the trailer. It is blocked. 2. Is the kitchen and its equipment weather resistant? I am especially concerned about the microwave sitting outside in a rainstorm.
Love, love the multi-function of the new design, but not seeing much in terms of inside storage. Will storage cabinets be added? Will there be a future layout option where the upper queen bed can also be pushed forward so you can have taller cargo items remain inside during inclement weather?
The one feature I would wish for is to be able to take a hand wand/ abbreviated, compromise boat shower in the toilet enclosure, when it is inconvenient or inappropriate to expand the footprint outward by extending the kitchen. Or some way to cheat a shower in while the kitchen is still inside. Dual use of that shower/ kitchen square footage is super clever, but sometimes necessary to stay compact.
Is this a "well equipped" unit or is the starting point? Currently own a GO but would love to graduate up some day. If the "toy hauler" was a bit larger, it would sell me on it.
While very, very cool otherwise, the Vast’s sleeping setup is a real weakness imo. Awkward to scootch out at night, and with both beds in use there is too little headroom for either to sit up. Climbing into the top looks hazardous frankly, at least for some of us “mature adventurers”.
Checks all the boxes, very impressive. I look forward to seeing the all-season model.
Very impressive engineering and design! What a neat camper--so versatile and has everything in a very compact space. Wow!
Nicely done. The RV industry has suffered immensely regarding quality control. Hoping and cheering that this is not the case for the new Vast!
Tom Dempsey, you are the “Buckminster Fuller” of the camping trailer world.
Like the concept. Cargo weight capacity just not enough.
Your planning of the layout is magnificent

Really like this little trailer. Nice work.

Looks well built and a quality product.did yo comment in the AC?

Looks beautiful! Congratulations to your team.
ok, is this crayon green the only color available?

Is there AC in this?
Really clever engineering, but I feel like the price is definitely high, and it needs more cargo weight capacity.
How much

How much / what is the dry weight and what size is the main mattress (inches) length and width ?
I believe those specs are available on the SylvanSport website.
Only price and dry weight
@@Whiteknuckler57 ok so 2 out of your 3 questions
Too gadgety. Young nerds would like it I’m guessing. My ideas could make you rich Tommy.
$80,000???????????
good luck with that, ya'll lost your mind
I like this trailer
