  • Nature Coast Trail runs between Trenton, Olde Town and Chiefland in Florida. This mostly rural trail is peaceful to ride, but has few planned amenities along its length, so pack plenty of water and food. The Suwannee River bridge was the highlight for us and we especially enjoyed the tree cover over the section down to Chiefland, but the restrooms there were permanently closed at the time this video was recorded.

Great video. My wife and I live in Central Florida and have discussed trikking this trail, but always wind up at another trail. How long was the ride? We tend to top out around 30 miles. Thanks.

We rode 41 miles that day. The trail is "T" shaped and they claim 31.7 miles in total length. You could choose a starting point and ride 15 out and back. Our biggest complaint with this trail is the lack of restrooms. There was one at the trailhead in Trenton, but no others we could find. The building in Chiefland appears to be permanently closed. Not sure what is in Olde Town, we didn't go that far.
