I want the tomei so bad!!! But it costs an arm and a leg fr! Big ups to anyone acc investing in their car by buying quality parts! I have an 08 coupe and I’m running a custom set up: AAM competition test pipes > custom y > a short tail exhaust aka muff delete and it kinda has the same aggressive vq tone as a tomei but I would assume with a little bit more rasp, esp around the 3rpm range. But ngl the pipes made a huge difference in both exhaust tone and throttle response and not to mention a noticeable hp increase. Oem cats are by far the most restrictive part of vhr platforms. Keep up the sick vids bro

@@ChinoTainment broo me too. i got a g37 a few months ago. tinted the windows was a must. i made the mistake of being impatient and just got a muffler delete. sounds great but isnt "head turning" loud :/. going for test pipes or intake next paycheck XD
Motordyne art pipes, motordyne resonated xyz y pipe, and tomei is the best combo

Im running the megan y pipe and tomei with stock cats and I cant wait to get art pipes or headers! You might wanna get an extension because that shit melted my bumper and caught fire 😂😂

What y pipe and extension did you use? And length ?
I got a stillen y pipe and extention idk it came with y pipe but I had to extend it more, I’d recommend at least 18in for 370z tomei

Exhaust was a perfect sound before in my opinion but I’m a speed guy ,so louder and what looks like less flow isn’t what I would do,but it’s your car see you very excited about it that’s the most important part
Tomei makes the most power, it’s dyno proven
Single exit makes more power and the main restriction on any vq is the mid pipe and the axel back. If you start out with any other mods you won’t see any big gains even with tuned but replacing the stock exhaust system will make a difference.

You should definitely do some research on single exits and how VQs are more affected by scavenging than back pressure if you think that a Tomei has less flow

I got tuned and my car has intelligent cruise control so I cant change maps currently, you know anything about that? Tuner been trying to fix it
My cruise control don’t even work I’m probably in the same boat as you idk if I can get tuned ?
@@vciq yo cruise control dont need to work, just the cancel button and the set/coast buttons need to work. If your cruise control is not working and your car is stock, it's something on your car and not the tuner in this case. Mine stopped working after I got tuned because I have intelligent cruise control and the tuner didn't know.
@@Sicarius-MMA I see what you mean it’s some sensor upfront I need I’m not sure but could I still get tuned you think ? Or would I need to have some Bluetooth module to setup diffrent maps maybe ? like when I click it doesn’t do anything which sucks but I know for tuning would be nice to switch through idk I haven’t been able to find any info on stuff like that I play on test pipes and CAI and injectors and spark plugs and probably fuel tank only got a catback right now
