It is really refreshing to have a naga channel that does not follow the vlog and mukbang trend but instead focusses on the rich indigenous folktales. Truly, enjoying the videos. Praying for more success for this channel.
Very interesting ... we have so many mystical stories from our land. Nice to see someone try to tell stories of the olden days I am 59 years now. This was fun to watch.
Doesn’t matter whose tribe stories i just love folktale stories… some of them are hearthtouching…btw back to this folktale … the narrator said the snake man crossed the river and went to sumi area so i wondered if this man went and marry a sumi girl or his story was never heard of again….🤔🤔🤔
This channel should grow more and more be more blessings upon this owner of this channel for creating this channel to educate the tale of Naga to the new generation where most of them grow up without knowing the tale of Naga
Ahhh back then My father used to narrate this story, i didn't know that it's a sangtam folktale and also i came to know the name , only after watching this. Thank you
In aghunato under zunheboto district we still have a grandmother who transforms into a snake and also a lady who transforms into a tiger. Not a myth or legend but reality which has been passed down from our ancestors
I've heard this strong from my grandpa when we were kids, Mushosing was from Langtithonger Clan and so it is believed that when when that clan go for fishing they were blessed with many fishes and it is really true, they clan are blessed in fishing.
i wish someone has document the full story of him. Bc it was short and sweet But want to know more about the spirit he possess and what was the behind of the culture. Next time try to make a longer video 😊
I was not there at that time yet through the written document till date i can strong say that it was happened long long ago in the Sangtam land at Yangli - (United Sangtam Baptist Lithroti Ashimükong) Mission Center near Longkhim. And all this tales is true. The stone known as his bed still exist in the Thau river. For any more details. Please feel free to reach me I'll show you. ❤❤❤
In this folktale, actually it was his wife who took the youngest child and left the house, it was not Mushosu... This is a story which was well known in our village..
It's true story. I'm a Sangtam and live in Longkhim. I went many a times on that location and there is a huge huge rocks which mushoshing fire and rest. And indeed, there is a bamboo which grows upside down but it is not that much a large group. We diverted the river many a times on that location and even kept fish catching nets. It's an amazing place to rest while fishing at night even during day. The only thing is that, it's not under Sumi jurisdiction but it's in Sangtam land
The name is Mushosu, Satami Village, under Zunheboto district. ....and according to what my grandmother and father told us the WIFE DID NOT TELL ANYONE not even the children but when Mushosu came home that day, she had already given dinner to kids, she did not speak even a single word to her husband and refused to touch his basket of catch. Mushosu was grief striken and he did not go in the middle of the night but he took a bamboo that is used to fetch the water then he cut it open and poured it on himself and turned into a big snake and made a huge landslide into the Tizu river and was never to be seen again. The wife was able to jump out of the house with the kids in nick of time.
My father once told me the remarkable tale of one person from Aquba village, under Aghunato. It is said that he possessed the extraordinary ability to transform his spirit into powerful forms, such as a giant snake and a tiger. One day, a friend from Asukho village challenged him to demonstrate his power by causing a landslide near their village. In response, He unleashed his might, triggering a massive landslide below Asukho village, leaving all who witnessed it in awe of his abilities. Sadly he passed away in 2017 at the age of 87.
It is written on screen that, which is believed to be the first village of Sangma... And Sangma is belongs to Meghalaya Garo tribe surname, which is called A'chik or Garo in Garo Hills Meghalaya Northeast India. Thankyou 🙏
Can you make wangbren "the snake deity" story.... whose wife is a naga girl. The stone he threw is still there in Manipur, naga village it's as big as a house. Please research it and do it.🙏
