    1. Really love what you’re doing with donating a portion and honoring someone I consider a GOAT of photography and cinematography!
    2. Really really love these presets. Can’t wait to use them on some street stuff!
    3. That town looks very midwestern or southern. Interesting!

Thanks bro! Appreciate you! And yes, this town definitely does not fit into the vibe of the Bay Area… but here it is!

Great video! Gordon Parks’ work, and story are truly inspiring. One of my favorite things on UA-cam is learning more about the “icons” and history of photography. Love that you incorporated some of that here!

Hit some UA-cam interviews with him! Definitely worth the time. Thanks for the comment!

I met Gordon years ago when living in Tokyo at one of his exhibitions. Needless to say I was very intimidated as he was and will forever be a legend but being from Kansas (as he was) my curiosity won out. I only wish (after all these years) I had spent more time talking with him. His work is timeless.

The first preset I directly bought without knowing how it exactly looks. Why, because I know it’s great! Thanks Dave. Now I get to the video. All the best

If you haven't seen it, 'Weapon of Choice', HBO/Max's Docuuseries on Gordon Parks and modern day creatives that take after him, is really really good

One of the B&W profiles to recreate is Orthochromatic films - blue/green sensitivity. In color film, I shot Kodachrome and Ektachrome (and dozens of other color films). I used to shoot color cards so that I could color correct the final prints. I'll use those old color card shots to edit digital inages.
