For those like myself who play amateur league and have always wondered how they actually assemble the tables, this video was awesome! Thank you for showing us this! That's one sweet-looking table!

Great video! Hope you’re enjoying the new table. He did a great job! Even wrapped a piece of card paper or rubber to cover the staples in the pockets. Always the sign of a knowledgeable installer. (Exposed staples leave scratches/ nicks in the pool balls when pocketed. Making a cover for them is a good way to protect your investment 😊. For those who didn’t already know). Have a great day everyone!

Table looks super solid. Nice. I cashed in 5 out of 10 tournaments this year. Most recent one 4th place knocked out in semi finals. Won 1st/2nd place a couple times and a 3rd place finish. Your videos, Dr Dave and Tor Lowry videos have helped me. Tor actualy came to my house in NJ in July of 2014 and I was picked to be trained and he helped pay it forward so I can take my game to the next level. I am not a pro yet. Almost B level range.

This looks amazing! Thanks for the video. May I ask how did you tightened the pockets to 4.25? Were the rails lengthened or additional rubbers were placed on the rails? Thank you

First of all I would probably being willing to lose a testicle to have my own table - but that could lead to a divorce because I am a practice freak, and would never get off the table. I am sure my wife would not be totally happy.
Second, great video all around but what impressed me the most was the installer handling the slate all by himself. That was pretty impressive to me.
And finally, I had never even heard of a Pro Star until watching this channel and now I am very interested in buying one.

Great job ! A little advice if I may: never mix the putty on the board (this is what spatulas or any piece of material to throw are for). To apply the layers of putty, it is better to do it with the spatula almost vertically and in several passes than to give it a thick pass and sand hard. Let's not forget that slate is diamond ground, it is a soft material and sanding quickly causes imperfections even when using very long sanding blocks. Putty has a different density than slate, normally less density and hardness, and if it is applied in a thin layer, light sanding does not affect the slate at all. In the same way a poorly sanded layer of putty can increase the thickness in the slightest so I see no reason to mix the putty over the slate in an area without need.

Awesome video. I am really interested in these tables. I live on the West Coast in the U.S. Are they table available in North America (U.S.). How do I get one? thanks Niels. I love your channel. You've helped me improve my game by leaps and bounds.

I also have a room 4.4m wide and I was wondering if it is a show stopper of putting in a pool table because in worst case scenario you have only 7-8cm for cueing. Sharing this info was very helpful, thank you. If Neils Feijen trains in this space, for sure will work for me.

I just wonder if it would have been good to "wash" the plates after sanding and let it dry?
Instead of "only" vacuum clean it?
We will get new tables too soon here.
Would be nice to know if "washing" with a BIT wet towel would be better or not.

Do you have any suggestion about how to test the variation of different table conditions when you are in tournament?? Maybe some stroke test or rail bouncing test??

That “spirit level” is actually referred to as a “machinist’s level” here in the States. Typically, the graduations are 0.001” each across 8” to 12”. Essential for leveling a pool table.
That Prostar table assembles very much like my Rasson. 3 piece slate, bucket pockets, and adjustable base.

Great performance at Masters Niels! The last rack wasn't racked well by the referee and that caused a poor break, the balls didn't open as they normally would.
