I am reading Ajahn Brahm's book Simply this Moment.... a collection of talks given to Monks at the Bodhinyana Monastery. Really good...

I am currently reading your book 'Mindfulness, Bliss and Beyond' - amazing! Could you please do a talk on violence? And how to deal with violent confrontation?

A talk on violent confrontation would be really good.

What surprises me is the damage done by gambling which is socially acceptable (huh?) - the huge amounts of suffering caused by the cynical marketing by vast "....gangsters" who prey on those who have so little. It's diametrically opposite to the reaction of the masses to drug dealers preying on the vulnerable yet gambling is causing (in front of my very eyes) more damage than any drug. Peace to all and there is hope thank you Ajahn Brahm

    I disagree... Gambling is gambling.
Let's call it what it is: If you buy a lottery ticket or are in a Casino then you are gambling. It doesn't matter how much you play or your chances of wining. It appears that the speaker's is being nice to the Casinos and other gambling industries since his temple might be receiving some donations from the gambling industry.
Keep in mind that all the addicted gambler started by -to your word- gaming...

It is not the stupid phone. It is the stupid person tha uses the phone
It is the same with guns. Is the gun dangerous or the person behind it.

I am not sure about that.
    Do not underestimate human stupidity.
A stupid person driving and texting could be far more daungerous than
    a wise man havily harmed.
So, everything depends on how you see things.

Weellll yeah it is just a little. To do this you have to assume what the other person said or did is crap lol. But you can include the things you your self did on the tp.
